I hope he gets to use some choice GotG lines in this movie

Drax the Destroyer: NOTHING goes over my head!... My reflexes are too fast, I would catch it.

Good guy who got unfairly skewered by wrestling fans on his return this year because he got in the way of the chosen one, Daniel Bryan. Always will respect him for sucking it up and still putting him over.

I still feel Drax worked so well because they needed him to be a bad actor for those lines to pop, and he is just a bad actor.....

With that said he should make a great Bond henchman it's well within his range. I hope they give him some gimmick that unique/iconic that is a bit over the top to use when fighting.

I'm really rooting for him to keep getting high profile work. Being a Bond henchman hasn't been so prolific lately, but just being attached to a Bond film is a big deal.

With how streamlined the last two Bonds were, he'll probably be in the film for maybe 5 mins before he gets brutally murdered.

What? His delivery of his jokes were pretty good and the character itself was so weird and specific that it seems really far fetched to consider that they just happened to find some famous wrestler that was a fan of the comic that doesnt understand figure of speech.

The description of the guy they were looking for was exactly how Id describe Batista.

Cant wait for FF8 when rock and batista go at it.

I don't know. Batista IS a pretty shitty actor. I just think it might be a case where Drax (which he nailed) was just the perfect role for him, kind of like Keanu with Matrix.

His comedic timing was on point. Knew he would deliver after Riddick.

Can't wait to seee him Batista Bomb Daniel Craig through an Aston Martin.

He was kind of the worst part of Riddick and GotG, but I guess people like him. Looking forward to seeing him powerbomb Daniel Craig through a table.

The villain in Moonraker? I thought he was lame. This is so confusing. I just feel like we are talking about different things.

There is only one Batista

If he was the henchman the movie would be four hours long and his screentime would consist of mumbling and him looking puzzled with two quizzical looks throughout not realising who Bond was despite him shooting the place up and showing a badge that says "HELLO I AM JAMES BOND SECRET AGENT 007".

Man, I couldn't be more happy for the guy. He was so humble about auditioning a million times for and getting the role in GotG and his hopes that it would open up doors and I'm glad it has. He must be ecstatic.
