Kingpin in the Spidey verse should definitely happen.
No one should play Fisk other than Vincent IMO.

The four way crossover feels like what Netflix is trying to build up to with their shows. It's just the DC TV side is a machine that seems to be able to churn out 4 shows concurrently instead of one at a time. Its the Committment
It shows in the work. Its why the MEGA crossover they are doing is possible
DC TV is more MCU than the MCU.
Comments from whedon during his AOU press junket
"A lot of people come back in The Winter Soldier. Its a grand Marvel tradition. Bucky was supposed to die. And the Coulson thing was, I think, a little anomalous just because that really came from the television division, which is sort of considered to be its own subsection of the Marvel universe. As far as the fiction of the movies, Coulson is dead."

This would be incredible. I'm unbelievable excited for this movie. They probably need to start shooting for this soon, right?
Just googled the comment mentioned in the OP:
Isn't the show apparently terrible? I'm not surprised they don't bother acknowledge it.
I was under the impression that the script for this movie is complete. Are they just going to find some random place to shoehorn in Kingpin?

Would be on board with this, although I'd like to hear it from a more reliable source. Or indeed, any real source at all. If they did it though he'd have to be a side antagonist or cameo or something, I prefer the dynamic he has with Daredevil.

I like the idea of a Marvel TV character appearing in a Marvel movie.
I just wish it wasn't campy, cheesy, my-voice-box-is-filled-with-tiny-pebbles Kingpin
What's wrong with expecting more? So now marvel has set the bar so high these requests are out the realm of possibility? And saying she has an entitled attitude? Because she wants to be more involved with the Marvel universe? Cmon man. Its not like her individual talents on the show would suggest she's not capable.
This reeks of Robin Wright being harassed because she wanted equal pay with Kevin Spacey for House of Cards.
I'd say the same thing of pretty much anyone on that show so you shove that sexist shit up your ass.
It's nice to want things but yeah I do think the bar is higher than the inhumans in the show and I don't think lashing out because she feels they are hypocritical is good form. They actually have integrated the shows and the movies just not to the extent she wants hence me saying she's displaying a feeling of entitlement.
She seems pissed but what does she expect? She honestly expects to get an avenger to make an appearance? Shes lucky they got fury for a few seconds.
And she seems to have a pretty entitled attitude. what reason would marvel have for shoehorning her character into a movie? Makes you hope marvel calls everyone p to the majors except her, lol.

Kingpin's scene with Matt in season 2 was probably his best for the character and it involved no heads in car doors. In fact, I thinkThe good/interesting is how he ranges from a deranged calm to viscerally violent. Weakening that contrast weakens the character.
She's not asking for any of what you're talking about, but I guess you need a reason to hate on her.
AoS makes references to the Marvel movies sometimes, the Netflix shows all have ways of showing they're connected yet the movies rarely, if ever make any mentions of what happens on the shows.
Stark is in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Fisk getting involved could potentially put Fisk on Stark's radar. Connecting the dots means Daredevil ends up on the Avengers radar since digging up on Fisk means reading up about Daredevil in Hells Kitchem.

If they can't pull off the character without gore, their thinking is stuck in a box.
AoS is way more gory than the films and the tone can be more corny.
I'm down with this. Punisher and Spidey team up, too.
