The only downside of Kennedy leaving is that she will be edited out of the born naked video , being that she was by far the best dancer.

Oh thank Jesus. I haven't watched Untucked yet, but RuPaul made the right call booting Kennedy. Stunning final outfit, fierce dancing, absolutely deplorable attitude. Unprofessional, disrespectful, just plain mean-spirited. To say Violet and Pearl aren't ready and don't bring much to competition? And to declare herself better than anyone in Drag Race history after the mediocrity she displayed in the first half of the season and the intensified elitist nastiness in the second? GTFO girl, pls and thanx.

I'm sure her awful bitter nature won't stop the work from flowing in, so her fans shouldn't feel too bad.

I'm still fucking livid that Katya was robbed. Max too, but Katya... WTF, Ru. For real. Talk about a disastrous error in judgement. None of the top bitches can compare. I want her to pull a Willam/Alaska and outshine all of them.

Go Pearl, I guess. Neither of the other two do much for me. Violet's fashion is on point but everything else is meh. Ginger? Best big girl other than Latrice... but no. I'm sure I'll feel the same way after seeing Untucked.

I think there was probably an agenda to the eliminations. (especially Katya and MAX) We'll see when the winner is crowned, but I think threats were gotten rid of early on for a reason.

If Pearl wins we'll know why. I like her but she doesn't have the raw charisma and thundering talent of Katya. And her fashions are blown away by Max.

This is the first season I can remember where two obvious front runners were eliminated well before their time. Willam excluded, but she left on her own terms and rode the wave long and far.

sure some people disagree with winner selection of past seasons but I've never heard someone complain about a black Queen winning. in fact most of the winners have been POC and I think most will agree that Raja and Bianca were very deserving winners

with ginger, she's hardly old (she's 29) but she is fat and bitter. latrice, delta and darriene are all bigger Queens who absolutely never let their size become an issue, unlike ginger whose whole reason why she should win this competition was "it's time for a big girl to win". she's also bitter complaining about the sewing challenges and yet her IMBD is littered with costume design credits.

I never really get why race is ever brought up... I find it really hard to believe some people will dismiss Violets creativity and vision just because she's a skinny white boy even though she's the most polished by far of the competition. but oh well! we'll all laugh about it in two weeks when she wins! &#127770;

I saw Untucked. What a sad lot those older queens are. Ginger, so passionate about winning that she forgets to respect the dignity of her competitors. I felt bad watching her try so hard to patch things up with Pearl. And Kennedy, a seasoned drag artist who's totally blind to her own strengths, too insecure to stop attacking the younger queens she feels threatened by, even though there's plenty of room for their styles to coexist.

Was this truly the ideal top 4? All this pathos doesn't even make for entertaining television. To me at least.

Violet turned out to be a sweet kid. If she's the future of drag, Kennedy should stop fretting. It's nice to see someone of her fierce creative abilities have such a pure attitude toward her art. Why shouldn't Drag Race be more celebratory and affirming? For me the most impressive contestants (Raja, Willam, Alaska, etc.) aren't memorable for being catty. They made lasting impressions simply by showing up and displaying their craft. (That said, Willam's quick wit disarming Phi Phi's nastiness is a series highlight.)

It takes just as much carelessness calling someone bitter and fat as it takes calling a skinny/pretty person "shallow" though. That said, in tallying up the shade meter for the remaining queens, Ginger does paint herself as much more bitter and snarky in her talking heads and that "behind your back" rudeness comes by pretty much several times per episode. It's a television show with an eclectic group of personalities so of course the most likable/popular ones are going to rise to the top. Ginger cursed herself with those talking heads, because she does have a lot of charm that could have made her very adored by the viewing public but she overshadowed it with the nonsense she was spewing in the interviews. And it's sad considering that she performed so well in the challenges (despite her runways being the worst of any top three contestant ever), but that doesn't matter quite as much to people when you're selling yourself as two-facecd and rude. Sad.

Yeah, Ginger could have been an unqualified fan favorite if she'd reined in the shade a bit. She does have a wonderful sunny side and a sensitivity that could have made her very endearing. It'll be hard for her to shake the image she projected on Drag Race, and that's unfortunate. I want to like her, and then I remember her confessionals...

Meanwhile, Katya, for example, has absolutely nothing to look back on and feel bad about. Even the insecurity and doubt she revealed worked in her favor. It made her real by showing that a queen of her caliber can be a regular person dealing with regular issues. Her whole stint on RPDR is a fucking killer resume. It certainly made a fan out of me. Charisma? Uniqueness? Nerve? Talent? Why yes, more than enough to keep a dozen lesser queens tearing up the runway on her fumes.

I'm quite sure I would explode if Katya, Willam, and Alaska met on All Stars 2.

This episode of RuPaul's Best Friend Race didn't surprise me, the only real 'storyline' they had this season was the 'old' queens vs the young ones, and there was going to have to be some payoff to throwing the words 'bitter old lady brigade' in our faces over and over again.

The problem with Ginger is they tried to turn her into Bianca in terms of confessional time + nature of commentary, but it was nowhere near as witty/funny because she never said it straight up to people in the same way and doesn't have the right style of delivery. All this 'I looooooove you girl' crap really got on my nerves.

Praying for a Violet win, the CUNT is strong with that one. Polish + personality >>>>>>>>

That was my main problem with Ginger. It wasn't like Bianca where the other queens were like "You're so nice!" (because she actually was despite her cold nature) and she'd just roll her eyes and be like whatever. Ginger would always be like "deez gurls are so inexperienced and not ready! OH REALLY? WITH THAT, GIRL? Please." in the main show and then in Untucked she'd be like "We are all sisters and I love you! No no no, I think what you're wearing is fierce and I'd never say that about you!" so it was a little jarring.

Watching this makes me appreciate violet even more. Sure her final look wasn't up to par with her Spring look and Death Becomes Her look but god damn did she have a variety of looks. While she didn't paint herself an underdog image like Ginj wouldn't shut up about herself(and there is tons of shade thrown about that in the AV club reviews), she did grow as a person and reel back the bitch and brought on the confidence which is threatening to many queens. In my head canon her and Katya become good friends after the show ends. They pair really well together and the moments they share at the end of the season are among the best. I think I may enjoy this season a bit more in retrospect when it ends.

What personality tbh

Violet deserves to win just coz we definitely need another high fashion model type wearing the crown. She and Raja are both design goddesses. But that personality isn't exactly endearing to me.

Ginger deserves to win coz she played the game best, even though no one is rooting for her at this point. Whereas everyone's rooting for Pearl, even though she would be least deserving of the crown.

Tyra's runway was consistently brilliant, I loved that pompadour with the black gown and jewels. You see why she won after seeing them all together like that.

Violet knocked it out of the park with episode one, I'm not even sure if she ever topped those fashion season looks but probably didn't need to.

2 wins and 2 lip syncs versus Violet who has 3 wins and 0 lip syncs? I don't think it'll happen... I think if Violet's numbers close in on Pearl's by next week then it's a done deal. And I think they will tbh

If someone were to ask me why Pearl should win over the other two I'd blank a little bit. Even though I like her most. lol

They've cared during every other season; the winner always had the best record. This would be the first season to throw that out the door.

This is also the first time that the person with the best record wasn't the one with the most fans behind them. Also the first season with all the double wins. Whatever the case is, Ginger is likely not in the running at all.
