I was just thinking about a STRQ miniseries the other day. I wonder a lot about that team.

If we go by the usual trend of first initial beaing leader then that means Summer lead the team.

I also wonder what Summer and Tai's weapons are. Tai likely has some kind of hand to hand weapon like Yang but Summer I don't think has had any hint to what her fighting style was like.

Volume 4 is a whole new beast of animation, RT switch to Maya rather than Poser, and everything outside of the combat (still missing Monty's touch) is improved upon.

I whole-heartedly recommend.

I'm probably in a minority, but volume 4 models are my least favorite character models (same with animation, only 1 fight is memorable, but still ruined for plot reasons). They've lost almost every bit of charm in my eyes. I've rewatched Volumes 1-3 10+ times thanks to all live reactions out there, while I couldn't rewatch Vol 4 even once, only two or three episodes 3 or 4 times.

It's kind of amazing how many hateable characters this show has. I mean, I really hate some of these characters.

There's like zero redeemable qualities between Adam and Daddy Schnee.

I'm fond of the theory that Jaune's Semblance will be Polarity like Pyrrah's. The theory behind it is that Jaune and Pyrrah were complete opposites much like magnets so it would make sense if his ability is the same or somewhat similar to Pyrrahs.

Eh I think its pretty balanced honestly. Yang/Ruby's Dad is pretty great, as was Ruby's mom (really the only mom that Yang knows as well) then you have Jaune who seems to have a happy family and someone else who we'll see their parents in this volume is also pretty great. Qrow is also a really great uncle, I think that makes up for Raven, Weiss' family, ect.

I actually disagree, I think Sun was necessary for this Volume and I liked it.
Sure he is a bit overbearing at times but without that Blake would have just fallen into an even more self-destructing mood.

Oh I agree that he was necessary. And honestly, despite the fact that I'm admittedly not a fan of the Black Sun ship at all, I was excited to see how they might interact together when V4 first kicked off.

The problem is that Sun crosses a few lines in regards to Blake imo and it's all done in the name of "comedy." To me, that stuff isn't funny, it's aggravating. Granted Blake gets aggravating to watch here too.

The problem is that the execution here is done really poorly.
