Ryan Reynolds Teases Deadpool Costume

I predict at least one ad with him presenting somebody an actual heart.

Yeah probably as a last minute gift to death, he kills some jockey, rips his heart, puts it in a chocolate box with a "I Wuv U" on it. :P

Not gonna lie. I got a man crush on Reynolds.

I don't really think Deadpool needs an R-Rating. You can get away with enough in PG-13 that I think Deadpool would be fine.

They need to watch the blood and gore. Decapitations are out. He only gets to drop one f-bomb and the sexual innunendo needs to be more subtle.

Basically, doable but not ideal. I wish it was R rated, but it's not a dealbreaker basically.

Decapitations aren't out, actually. They can't be on screen during the cut, but the timeless "cut to legs, guy falls down without head" thing works.

Yes, Days of Future Past retconned Wolverine Origins and The Last Stand out of the X-Men movie canon. X-Men 1 and 2 still happened in broad strokes.

My understanding was that X1 and X2 were both completely out as well.

It's definitely out insofar as Mystique and Wolverine are concerned.

I may have missed it but how did DoFP change Origins?

spoilers obvs:

all X-Men movies excluding First Class were basically deleted from the timeline because of what happened in DoFP. a clean slate. Wolverine was picked up by Mystique in disguise at the end of DoFP so he was never captured by real Stryker.

Ah yeah I'm aware of the semi retcon but I didn't get the Wolverine thing till you reminded me it was Mystique as Stryker at the end. I'd love to know how he still got the adamantium treatment though.

Technically you're right, it's a new timeline, so in that sense all of the previous movies (sans First Class and the 70s segments of DOFP) have been been wiped out. But given what we see in DOFP's ending, it's safe to assume that something similar to the events of X1 and 2 still ended up happening in the new future. It very conveniently keeps the movies Singer did while getting rid of the ones he didn't.

Yeah that'll be the promise Xavier made Wolverine.

Sooo this is in the xmen world right? Assuming the xmen movies ever take place in the present again

Cool. Glad it's faithful to the comics, it looks good.

There's no way they're using that script. It has a lot of hard R shit and this is pg13.

Your not fuckin serious. Jesus christ. How the fuck can they accurately depict Deadpool in a pg13 film?

Costume looks sweet anyway.

PLEEEEEASE Be good.

I have faith Reynolds can nail the character as long as he has a decent script / film to work with. I really hope this delivers.

See, if I worked in the movies I'd make a video titled Ryan Reynolds Teases Deadpool Costume. Then you'd click it and it'd all be Reynolds pointing at a costume and going,

"Ha! Ya dumb costume. You just lie there all limp. Nyaaaaah!"

*Note: this may be why I do not, in fact, work in the movies.

Does Fox have the rights to Mistress Death? If I remember correctly, she's referenced in the Thanos coda at the end of Avengers, but kinda vaguely so I'm unsure of the rights situation.

I do. Do you know him past daniel way? Because dude has depth
I know in recent years that the stories have started looking into the psychological and emotional sides of Deadpool but, honestly, sarcastic Deadpool is best Deadpool. I'd love to see the film tap into his angst but, c'mon, we all know Deadpool is about over-the-top sarcasm and violence. And we all know that this is the reason we'd be seeing the film in the first place.

The angst is apart of who he is. The issues with copycat, image issues with siryn(too bad she cant happen), his odd relationship with blind al, friendship with weasel, self doubts with t-ray, and loyalty to nate. Hes deep if used right. Im not asking to remove the silly shit, but to not go to the extreme. The wolverine used the deeper aspect of logan while having him fuck shit up, and i hope that deadpool can do the same

The silly shit shouldn't be the only thing there is too him. Cause at his core Deadpool is a tortured character, and the silliness is the mask/buffer because without he would really go insane.
