This was a response to that matter from devs of "Still Wakes the Deep" (small game). It basically requires extra "work". I dont care honestly....I just buy the game (if its good)! Subscriptions suck by default imho!

It unlocks 11 AM EST which is approx 24hrs + 30 min from now for me, so assume the same for you since it's launching simultaneously world wide.

PC Gamepass is bugged for me. I cannot download more than 10MB. It says pre download, then does nothing. I triggered it to DL last week and it was but went back to 10mb. What the fuck MS?
The game has no pre-load on PC so that happens to everyone, myself included. We'll have to download the whole thing tomorrow on launch

I don't think that will happen. I'll get home, see 150GB downloaded but the 136GB patch didn't even start.
I don't think any of the game services patch games before first launch. Xbox, Playstation, Steam, Epic, Xbox window, none of them.

Oh yeah, especially with what the devs have gone through, from losing people in a literal war, to waking up to air raids… The game releasing and getting to the finish line is a massive achievement, and they deserve all the praise for it.
I’m so ready for this damn game, man. From what I’ve read and learned about previous entries, these games don’t really hold your hand? You essentially have to figure the zone out yourself, read, and learn the mechanics and enemy types. Proper old school video game type stuff.

I already expect traversal stutter. Shader stutter is unacceptable. Even Atomic Heart a semi open world Unreal Engine game includes a shader precompile on boot up.
You can literally see several traversal stutters in the "RTX" trailer. So it's confirmed.

Jesus and MS really thinks they are going to grow their PC base with shit like this. It amazes me how long they've been at this Xbox/PC stuff and they still have issues like this. I remember having to reformat my drive just to get my drive space back from games I installed using that garbage app.
