Yes that was the warning Yates gave the White House. Flynn lied, the Russians knew he lied because he was literally lying about their phone call and with that information alone, Flynn could be compromised by the Russians.

HEY, that's only illegal in Texas and Arkansas.
Yates just said that she specifically told the Trump admin this so they could "take action". Basically fire his ass which of course they didnt do until it became public. Now think about all of this in the context of the latest comments to pre-empt this hearing where Trump/Spicer are trying to point to Obama for not doing anything about Flynn.
People try to paint Trump as a lame duck in all this put there is obvious coordination of messages here as if they are trying their best to hide this.
