I thought so. This thread's not so long, I'll read through it tomorrow. But I do have to say that it's sickening what some people are willing to do to keep the conspiracy theorists riled up.Yes, on both counts. :/ It's a disgusting manipulation.

What in the fuck does this have to do with anything?
Um it has something to do with Sandra Bland.
There's no context. There seems to have been an accident with a motorcycle rear-ending a car. What am I supposed to take away from it?
Excuse me, he just tossed back what that poster tossed at the rest of us.
Also, I've had someone directly say "fuck you" to me, as a junior member and yet here we are.
Not sure why people like captive and the guy who told me "fuck you" can't detach emotion and discuss.. because honestly when they do that, it's really hard to have rational discussion.
Context if you read the rest of the thread after the video.
It probably has nothing to do with the incident this thread is about but it does show who she was as a person.
What in the fuck does this have to do with anything?
You seem angry for what I posted. I post these things to built up more discussion for Sandra. Basically, what type of person she was before she "supposedly" killed herself. As we can see she's a caring person of others and has faith in God. If you don't like what I post on this thread then simply just ignore!
I don't read comment sections after videos. I think you'll find that most sane people don't.
And how does this give insight into her as a person? She seems distressed after an auto accident. Every second of video she was ever in isn't important. What matters is what happened that night between her and the police officer and what happened the next few days in the jail.
It's just a video, and it does say a lot about her faith in God. Not sure what you're on about, tbh.I tried really hard to stay out of this thread all day because it's gotten nasty and off-topic, and both sides are at fault. I should have trusted that instinct.
This is completely fine as long as you realize you possess no dignity.
It's one thing to be compliant to an officer, its another to basically kiss his/her ass.
I'm disgusted by the people defending this guy saying he has the right to ask her out of the car and so forth .
I'm disgusted by the people defending this guy saying he has the right to ask her out of the car and so forth. Even defending the use of a tazer. When is pointing a tazer at someones face through a car window and threatening to 'light them up' a responsible way to behave? .
When you say things like "Yeah, people get fucked over who still comply. That shit sucks, I get it That doesn't give people free reign to be non-compliant and be a prick and think that's an okay to deal with human interactions." This comes across as tone policing the oppressed to me. Vaguely hypocritical because it obviously is okay for some people to be a non-compliant(to their job's rules), a prick, threatening, violent and think that's an okay way to deal with human interactions. He just gets a nice desk job for it instead. But let's focus on what the minorities need to be doing right? /s
Victim blaming comedy hour.
If it was just a warning he could have simply let her know the first time he spoke with her but he didn't. He ran her license and went fishing letting her stew the whole time. Then came back and immediately started poking her about being upset.

No one is blaming her for her death. "Victim blaming" does not apply here.
Lol it's like a comedy skit of ignorance. And yet the next two posts...
And yet the next two posts...
Yeah people, when a cop tells you to jump, you ask how high.
*rolls eyes*
And yet the next two posts...
He legally has the right to ask her out of the car, also he pulled the taser not through the window but had the door wide open and pulled it after repeatedly trying to ask her out, then remove her, the taser was the last thing he pulled before she got out. I think he escalated it all too fast, should have waited for backup, and talked her out, but what you wrote is wrong.
Just because something bad can happen from doing the right thing is still no excuse to do the wrong thing.
In the end, you can't control police, you can control yourself. This started as a discussion of the Sandra Bland stop, what I was discussing this whole time is what she could have done to make this situation not end the way it did.
Are you going to argue that just because there are shit cops, you have no control over the encounter so how you, yourself, act makes zero difference on outcome?
Dude, there's honestly no point in arguing in here. Everyone's emotions are clouding their judgement, and everything said that isn't 'fuck that cop' is victim blaming, even something like stating that she was wrong not to get out the car when he said to. Just let it go and approach the argument when everyone is more level headed about the ordeal. And this is coming from someone who is honestly on their side for the most partWhen a cop gives you an order to leave your vehicle, an order that the Supreme Court has deemed is acceptable in any and all traffic stops, you leave your vehicle. That is the law. You have as much right to refuse to leave your vehicle as you do to refuse pulling over to the side of the road when a police car is following you with their sirens on: none at all.
relevant.

dat false equivalency
Even some of my super pro cop friends think the officer went out of bounds.
Do we know how she died? Haven't been following the story? Why did she refuse to cooperate?
This thread is just further proof that the problems black people face in this country just get hand waved away.
You guys are right though she brought it on herself. None of this would've happened if she had just listened to the power tripping cop. It's not like we have any cases of black people cooperating fully with police and still being abused or murdered. That would just be preposterous.
How do we know the cop was out of bounds? Tape? Witnesses? Assumption?
didn't officials go on record that the officer violated procedure? WTF are peeps in this thread on about?
