I think the writers got the go-ahead after shit ratings and criticism to do more material that might be out of left field. Problem here is it seems there are still some writers and performers who are accustomed to a sterile environment.

I've never laughed at just the sight of the Former Porn Stars, but when they cut to Vanessa in the red dress, I burst out laughing, and she had't said a word. Wasn't sure about a few of the early skits, but WU/post-Weekend Update was on point.

Nicki Minaj was also much better than I expected in terms of doing sketches. Didn't watch her perform, no idea how that went.

i noticed that but thought it was just still part of the sketch. I would assume they rehearse these sketchs manys times before the show and in that time he would of of got an idea of her comfort level as far being touched and what not.

Yeah it seemed like it wasn't finished. I wonder if perhaps they put a draft version in the program for the show by accident.
