She definitely was lipsynching the first song. On the second song, someone messed up and play the first recorded vocal with the second music. You can tell because the vocal for the 1st song (Pieces of me) could be heard for 3 or more times during the 2nd performance. Also, the music could have been previous recorded too. The band could have been playing, but instruments where not hooked / sound not coming. Guess, Saturday Live is not entirely live.

Damn, I created a thread without reading this one. Ashlee totally fucked up. Her guitarists were playing two entirely different songs. Then they both hit it high at the same time...that was pretty kickass, but her walking off stage like that was expected, how embarrassing.

And as I mentioned in my closed thread...her voice is TERRIBLE.

Damn, I walked away to do something else since I had no desire to watch her 'sing' and I didn't hear her at all and was wondering why that commercial break seemed sooooo long.

That video's pretty funny though. After seeing it, the closing is pretty hilarious in hindsight.

Pretty good show besides her though, at least I thought so. It's always nice when a real actor is on and can actually bring some talent to the sketches.

In Avrils case at least she can sorta sing (well, not live Jesus that Grammy thing was horrible).. but really.. Ashlee simpson cant really sing at all, she doesnt write any of her own songs, and she isnt the least bit attractive. She really lucked out that her sister is amazing looking, because as far as I can tell that fact alone is going to make Ashlee Simpson a millionaire.
