Finished Season 1 of Steven Universe over the weekend.

That Garnett fight song is legendary. I've been humming it for the past twelve hours.

That song and
"Do it For Her(Him)" in "Sworn by the Sword"
are my favorite ones. I also still have a soft spot for the Cookie Cat rap from the first episode.

I actually agree with Pat on the EGTTR accent thing. I'm from the UK and due to everyone being ethereal light beings even I found it hard differentiation a lot of folk or knowing who they were without subs.

For some reason Podcast 105 wasn't available to me (the goat porn one) so I'm just listening to this one.

lol at Pat thinking Shadowrun: Hong Kong won't make 2015: it comes out in 2 days!

If only there was some sort of video that informed people what games come out every month..

Shit I didn't even realize... Just bought that shit, currently 33% off. God I it better live up to Dragonfall at least.

I was kinda hoping Pat and co. would do a quick look at Shadowrun: Hong Kong. But I guess they don't even know.

IF ONLY THEY HAD THIS VIDEO SERIES, THAT TELLS, NO INFORMS PEOPLE OF WHAT GAMES ARE COMING OUT IN A SAID MONTH PERIOD

Aw man, somehow I got really depressed that none of the best friends had played Rollcage, and therefore weren't all that hyped about GRIP...

Rollcage and Rollcage Stage II were amazing back in the PS1 days. Go look them up and download them, people!

I'm kind of surprised there is even still something of a discussion about GATE on the podcast. I just don't get it. It's sitting right next to Aldnoah Zero with anime talked about more than it has any right to on best friends content. GATE isn't offending me or anything that much, but it's not doing a ton for me either. Maybe I'm just being a stick in the mud since I feel like the real shit mountain is on the horizon constantly with the show. For now it's just speckled throughout in a similar sense to SAO or any other average thing. Oh look, the female fantasy warrior people have boob windows cus animu. I should probably just read the manga at this point to truly know.

Also I thought the Ride of the Valkyries thing was dumb. Literally yelling to start the music and just blasting that in choppers while murdering a couple hundred of guys. Ok.
Damn this Red Ash/MN9 discussion got heated.

A combination of Woolie being tired of the topic, Liam sort of defending Red Ash, and Pat just spewing wrong or ignorant info made it not great.

I'd agree with Liam in that the general hate is a little much for what this is, but man, Comcept and Inafune are still fucking up quite a bit. I doubt anyone would say the recent shenanigans surrounding them aren't somewhat dumb.

The Red Ash argument was suffering. Pat was being Pat and Liam was being Liam.
The main reason people are annoyed is because of all the stuff that has happen during Mighty No.9 and the lead up (and end of) Red Ash's kickstarter. When you're getting money from the people, then the people need to be happy to give it. It did start to feel like the Kickstarters were exploiting the fans.

Basically, poor planning of the Kickstarters has lead to people mistrusting Inafune and co. But people are being overly harsh on Inafune and co. but this wouldn't have happened if they planned the Kickstarters better.

The very foundation of any Kickstarter is trust. People pledge because they trust the design, the project leads, the idea... they trust that the project will completed, they trust that there will be open communication, and they trust that they will be respected throughout the process.

Through a series of poor decisions, Inafune and Comcept lost that trust. The culmination of which was the lack of transparency about the delay. They were immediately questioned about their motives of hiding such information given the Red Ash Kickstarter still struggling. If they had mentioned potential bug problems, they wouldn't be in the position they're in now and they wouldn't have lost the backers' trust.

The delay isn't a big deal. Anyone who has backed numerous projects should come to expect delays. It's how they handled it and the miscommunication. Not even just a lack of communication, but rather they flat out said it wasn't going to be delayed when rumors cropped up and they knew about potential problems.

It's been nearly hour. Where's the video?

Edit: Didn't realise the site was being an issue. But it is also affecting YouTube videos too?

I'm glad Liam used podcast time to call out the kind of vitriol that pervaded the internet over Red Ash and generally unliked kickstarters like the Ouya.

Okay, today's Rustlemania promo is now the best one ever.

Anything to further continue the feud between the Zaibatsu and YoVideoGames is excellent in my book.

Jeeze, this audio's unsynced as fuck. Pretty neat that they redid a game like this, again, though.

I feel Liam should just stop reading too much into internet forums, becasue it seems almost every week where he takes major offense to random internet posts.
