I liked that look at Bloodstained, and I really enjoy it when the guys take a look at kickstarter games. Seems like it tends to help the games that show promise.

I enjoyed the Trials LP a lot for the banter. But I don't understand how the gang on one hand will criticize something like Kung Fury super harshly (and I kinda agree with them) but then get excited for the dumb stuff in Blood Dragon which is exactly the same dumb faux-90s referential humour. Wrapped in a pretty "meh" trials game nonetheless
For me, it was the uneven schedule since I tend to marathon series that I'm not super invested in.
Well, I share the same sentiments concerning Kung Fury. It has a pretty solid first 5-10 minutes then it completly shits the bed by throwing in a lot of random bullshit when the time traveling begins.
While Blood Dragon as a whole is an homage to the 80s and 90s, it stays consistent with its ideas and feels engaging from beginning to end.
I do agree that the Trials setting is a bit meh.

Just beat Nier, and after looking up some stuff about the endings, apparently there are 4 and you have to play NG+ 3 times to get them all.
I'm gonna do it, cause I want to know why Liam loves this game so much. Like, as much as I've played I think it's slightly above average for it's setting and story. But I'm guessing it's the NG+ stuff that most people love about it

Just load your clear file. It'll restart you at a specific point of the game after a new intro sequence.
Endings C and D require you to acquire every weapon in the game, but Ending D is actually the coolest

Looking at the nier lp makes me realise how valuable Liam is to the group. He has all the great gems that the guys wouldn't even consider. Feel sorry for his struggle to motivate the guys to finish virtue last reward.

Is the Deus Ex lp worth watching? Although I love the game, the lp just didn't catch my interest for some reason, so I have yet to watch a single episode.
Bet money on how many times Liam says he's "keen" on something and you'll be rich.

I think it is. Dumb shit interspersed between tales of testing in the early stage. Loses some steam with the later episodes once they hit the Missing Link missions because those came later, and currently they're recording on dumb dumb mics through to the end of the LP I guess? But it's still enjoyable, at least for last night's episode.
Isn't the gameplay for that game godawful?
Yeah, but the story is crazy enough to make for an entertaining LP
