Scored Rez two weeks ago. (I'd say I got a deal...)

...and that, kids, was the first time I sucked a dick for crack
So on this kick ass trade place I frequent called GameTrade Zone, I saw someone asking for a GBA SP and he'd trade Rez for it. I jumped on it instantly and got myself a copy of the game in great shape -- very happy. I rarely play my GBA SP anyways, and I still have my regular glacier GBA (whose aesthetics I prefer regardless) so I feel pretty content with the decision.

I dunno about this one....

I think he's laughing now!

I got banned from GameTZ for being accused of trading pirated stuff.

I bought two copies of Rez for $20 each at Best Buy a couple years ago, then sold one recently for $45.

I got paid $5 to play Rez.

Well, considering what Rez goes for these days, it's a pretty good deal. I liked Rez and all, but if I could get $70 or $80 for it, I wouldn't think twice about selling it.

You think I kept my $5 copy? Sorry, I win.

Did you guys fair better than me? Yes.

But is trading a GBA SP for Rez worth it? Hell yeah.

Sorry, you're now disqualified. This thread is for people who currently own at least one copy of Rez, and to compare how much it cost them (hence "Scored Rez" in the title).

I do. A $15 copy from Best Buy about 3 years ago. Oh man, I just keep winning!

But you don't know about the copy of Rez I copped at a Compton swap meet for two cigarettes and a lottery ticket. And I don't believe you either, so there!

Anyway, I know for a fact that Konex bought like four copies at Best Buy and later sold three of them for ridiculous profits right after I posted it had dropped to $20 at BB.

So the moral of the story is, no matter how good a deal you think you got on Rez, there's always someone out there who got a better deal!

Where the hell is the Rez re-issue? I thought it was confirmed by OPM
I have been wondering that for the longest time. Rez prices on ebay have been coming down. Slowly but surely.

Play Rez on a KICK-ASS sound system AlphaSnake! Area 5 is a trip.

I was the first critic to review the game, days before it launched. All I've had was this review copy, until now. =D

On a semi-related topic, how much do you guys think I can get for a new but non-sealed copy of Gitaroo-Man?

Can't answer your question, but I just want to say I got my copy brand new for $9.99 at Best Buy a few years ago

I cant find a copy of Rez:(

I never actually followed the release of this game or anything to do with it, but it seems to get a lot of credit for being such a great game. What exactly is the game about?

Ever played Panzer Dragoon? Basically, just imagine that but in vector graphics form. Now, every time you destroy enemies a song in the background will begin to form. First, percussion will come in and it progresses. It's just so damn cool and addictive. The songs are also techno, and not some j-pop crap. :P
