Sean 'Diddy' Combs sentenced to 50 months behind bars

Combs is scheduled to be sentenced on Friday in New York on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

He should be out on time served.

He's probably a terrible human being but he was acquitted of the major charges and essentially convicted of transporting prostitutes, who, as far as I know, were willing participants.
 
He has done insane shit that can't be proven but that he is almost certain guilty off, like ordering killings and such.

He has been getting away with so much shit it's ridicules.

Transporting whores is normal in Hollywood, there are thousands of women who make their living selling ass for celebs.
 
So conservatively he is looking at 50 x .85 = 42.5 - 13 = 29.5 months plus any additional time he can have removed by various programs while in prison. I don't expect him to serve much more than another year plus some type of restricted release.

I wonder if he'd have walked free under Mamdani, who pushes to decriminalize sex work? Diddy would have walked away free in that case 🙄

He'll be out in less than two years

  • Time Served: He is credited with 12 months of time already served.

So transporting prostitutes which seems like they were willing and compensated fairly. Anything that's actually really bad? Wild sex parties itself isn't a crime, which every rich music person probably does

Been witnessing the demise of the courts for a few years, now. All I can do is just chew on popcorn and hope it gets better.
 
Next to this on my local news site was a item on how Sophie Roske got 8 years for an annulled attempt at US Judge Kavanaugh.

And then mf Diddy gets 4.

Weak sentence. He should be jailed for life for all of the awful crimes he has committed. And certainly for that shitty music he produces.
 
The prosecution overplayed its hand when it tried to go for RICO charges against Diddy. RICO is notoriously hard to prove.

The Prosecutors Podcast did a really good breakdown of this on their Legal Briefs podcast, which you can find HERE if you are interested in listening (Link opens to YouTube of the Podcast).

Beyond that, he was convicted of two counts that most first-time offenders would likely be able to plead down to probation, especially if they had as much time served as Diddy already does.

No doubt, Diddy is a piece of shit, but the prosecution team had their shot and blew it.

Given his time served, Diddy should have walked out of that courtroom with supervised probation or home confinement. Anything else is punitive for the charges he wasn't convicted on (including the Cassie stuff), and that sets a dangerous precedent.
 
Scumbag won't even be 60 when he gets out......

Must be nice to have enough money for laws to apply to you in a lesser fashion.
