Know what you mean, dude. I'm glad you got yours. Saw you in there stuck in that queue with the handful of us that waited forever. I lucked out and got mine.So who from Seattle-GAF was able to get PAX tickets today? I got mine but almost went insane in the process. Not fun.

Yeah man I was definitely going insane. Glad it's all over.Know what you mean, dude. I'm glad you got yours. Saw you in there stuck in that queue with the handful of us that waited forever. I lucked out and got mine.
pax is never worth it. it smells something fierce, and the waits to play games are only tolerable if you are under 21 and/or tolerant of nintendo mouthbreathers.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. My friends and I wanted to attend Pax for the first time this year and now I find out the tickets are sold out. What are the resale value on these things? We were only planning to go for one day. Will they go on sale again or do I have to buy it secondhand? If anybody here is selling it let me know! I need 3 tickets.

Oooh, Ezell's new food truck is going to be making the rounds at the Fremont farmers market starting in May, and Renee Erickson's seafood truck at the Queen Anne one.
Doesn't the waitress become more of a prostitute/escort at that point?
Pretty much this. Waiting hours for AAA games seems like a waste of time, unless of course you've been there for 4 days and seen just about everything already.PAX is great, but the things that make it fun for me have never been the lines for AAA games or whatever. Highlights are always meeting people, parties, panels and the indie games section. Avoid waiting in line for stuff because there's so much else to do.
im tellin ya, kickin boot, some of if not the best fried chicken ive had.

they won't go on sale again. make some noise on this thread closer to game time and surely someone will've had something come up.
Thanks guys. Will do!Those of you that didn't get PAX tickets should definitely still come out to the meetup. You don't need PAX tickets to enjoy the weekend.
Regarding ticket resale for whoever asked, you can definitely find them online but the prices are outrageous (300% mark up outrageous). Your best bet is to check out the PAX thread and see if anyone has extras to sell. I know people bought extras with the intent on selling them to gaffers who missed out.

Looking forward to hanging out again this year, man!

What are some fun and interesting things to do in Seattle either tonight or tomorrow... With a date.
Bellevue sucks
Everything is an office in Bellevue. Not everything is a fucking office, Bellevue.
Yup. Can't wait to get out of this shithole.Bellevue sucks
Yup. Can't wait to get out of this shithole.
So Seattle-GAF, if you had a choice, would you live in Kirkland, Redmond, or north Seattle? I'm moving soon and I don't really care where I end up living as long as it's not Bellevue.

I live in North Seattle and work in Kirkland. I would not ever want to live in Kirkland. North Seattle for sure.
Ditto. There's a lot of North Seattle though. It includes awesome neighborhoods like Ballard, Wallingford, Fremont, Greenlake, even Ravenna. But it also includes unincorporated Methburg and Cracknolia.
North Seattle is my least favorite part of the city and Kirkland is my favorite east-side burb, and still, it's not even a contest, not even the same league, north Seattle all the way.Yup. Can't wait to get out of this shithole.

Okay, I can decipher Cracknolia (Magnolia), but Methburg? I can't figure that one out.Ditto. There's a lot of North Seattle though. It includes awesome neighborhoods like Ballard, Wallingford, Fremont, Greenlake, even Ravenna. But it also includes unincorporated Methburg and Cracknolia.
Airways (Kent) cans as does 7 Seas (Gig Harbor). They're both good, but Fremont Fremont Fremont. Love Fremont.
Oh yeah, Hilliard's Saison is also fantastic.

God. North Seattle, all the way. I think the Eastside is more for people who are older, want to start a family and don't mind the absence of nothing to do.
Chrome Satan is fantastic. I've had the Saison, but not really into the style.Hilliard's is pretty great. The bar is pretty fun too and they have the "chrome satan" which is pretty darn good, but it isn't canned.
