SEGA reveals LTD (as of March '22) sales for all of its IPs

But... Persona is the spin-off of SMT.
So?

Persona was essentially a Playstation exclusive until recently. SMT games have released on various platforms and the series has existed since before Persona.
SMT 3, 4 and 5 were essentially single-platform games until 3 recently got an HD version, and they've always been far from popular in the west. SMT 4 and 5 are basically both handheld games.
Persona 3 and 4 released on the best-selling console ever, plus PSP. Persona 4 and 5 have a very strong fandom, places like GAF have seen countless Persona avatars and memes throughout the last decade. Persona has had much more exposure since the PS3 era. Seriously, how hard it is to imagine that someone thought Persona had sold more?

SMT is an older franchise. Persona started getting popular with 4 and went mainstream with 5. What did you expect, exactly?
That Persona was the best selling of the two.
I really wonder what weird chord I've struck with my post, these replies are bizarre to say the least.

Including f2p makes this list worthless as it interrupts analyzing the sales data for the franchises accurately. For example, there's no way VF in nits is at 18M.
