Yeah. I was playing BFH and it was like I was using a modded controller. I was like, what the hell? Turned it over and
mother fucked (Technical term when it comes to IT)
the design. Not happy. Week before SK comes out too...

If anyone else is playing BFH on PS4 and wants to squad we can... I dont know many people who have it yet... Im still on the fence with it. Theres alot of stuff I like and alot of stuff I hate.

I could... but I dont really wanna spend 65$ on another controller when ive only had this one for like 2 months. I might just open it up with my eye glass kit an see what I can do to try an fix it.

Really? I figured they would've just gone crazy with the anime and do whatever. Guess not. And yeah, I did see a screencap of that in the trailer, it'd be strange if they had it there but nowhere else. Maybe an animator forgot they weren't supposed to draw those.

Ah, that's what you meant. I'm not sure anime then and now is really comparable, though. At least the 90s stuff that I've seen, they were more casual about nudity, rather than undeniably perv-y like most stuff is now.

Then again, I've watched both seasons of High School DxD and Manyuu Hikenchou all the way through, so I don't really care. Oh, and I guess I'm posting in a Senran Kagura thread, so there's that, too.

I don't they're actually legally allowed to go crazy and do whatever. For all the "pervy animu/Japanese games" complaints, Japan has hilariously restrictive censorship laws. I'm kinda surprised companies don't make holding companies in the US to distribute or something, I guess that might get them in trouble somehow.

My guess is they don't want reverse importing, i.e an uncensored version to exist in the US just so Japanese fans can get that version instead of their censored version.

I'm not all that knowledgeable on the subject, outside of the whole "put mosaics/black bars over all forms of genitalia" thing. Not sure what other restrictions there are, but that law sure is silly.

I can only imagine as the generations go on, the restrictions will go away (hopefully).

I'm pretty sure that's it...if Japan ever drops censorship for pornography it might have a chance of happening, but I don't see Japan doing that in the near future

Pretty sure it's basically no nipples no genetalia. At least for games nipples are definitely a no go. Some figures have them (and more) so I'm not sure what's entirely up with that, might depend on the medium of the work.

What I'm saying is encourage importing (since it's still you that's making the money) and just...why bother selling the censored version. Might not be economical, but selling censored versions of what would otherwise probably be porn seems...ridiculous. Seems to sell well enough to keep stuff alive (though it still seems pretty niche) so I guess it works out for them though.

On PS4 you can have multiple primary accounts on one PS4. Already have a JP account from a while ago. More reason to not play the Vita version for me though, hadn't considered free DLC. Kind of annoying free DLC isn't just a patch especially in cases like this.

all my ps3 and vita games are JP so I really have no incentive to make another account.

I was just holding out hope. =( But you know what Diadouji as Rachel? Yeah, I'm okay with that. Beating people up with Rachel never gets old. She is just too much fun. I think I'm better with Marie but I have way more fun as Rachel.

Marveous and Senran Kagura producer Kenichiro Takaki are working on a new mixed media project called Valkyrie Drive, which is expected to have a console game, anime, and social game. This week’s Japanese gaming magazines share additional details. [Thanks, Game Jouhou]



As it turns out, Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni has been confirmed as a title for PlayStation Vita. The keyword for the game is “offense,” and it will be a 3D battle action game that will have you take on clusters of enemies at a time.



The more you fight together as the pair of Rinka and Ranka Kagurazaka, their “Synchro Rate” increases, which will be accompanied by a change in their weapons and combos, in addition to various interaction scenes as they fight.



Again, when you launch powerful special attacks, it’ll break the costumes of both allies and enemies, so that’s already one thing the game has in common with the Senran Kagura series.



While we still don’t know the full details as far as gameplay goes, its description sounds a lot like that of Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus and Estival Versus, with more cooperative features between the two girls.



Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni will release in Japan sometime in 2015 for PlayStation Vita. You can read more about its mixed media project in our earlier report.
