Agreed. I was excited to replay it once I got the 5090 and maxed everything out and it's still soup.![]()
The amount of bullshit they put on screen in this game makes this comparison really funny: radial blur, chromatic abberation, DOF, motion blur...
See the difference with that:

Stop using that guy for comparisons, he's shit.
He's always been shit.Why?
I'm becoming more and more uncaring towards these side-by-side comparisons for console. Unless you pause the video and pixel peep, it's a useless/unimportant time killer. PC versus console comparisons are the only really big ones at this point.
Issue with comparisons on streaming sites [like YT or any other] is that videos likely gone through several encoding passes making them look so much worse than what you would normally see on your screen. They're not representative of real time image.I'm becoming more and more uncaring towards these side-by-side comparisons for console. Definitely, especially because this is on a console, for most cases consoles are connected to TVsThe game is so heavy on the post process, it's gonna be difficult to notice much in terms of differences from a normal viewing angle.

Yeah, I never understood why people were talking about how it's the best looking game they've ever played when it's nearly impossible to see anything clearly when they are shoving post processing effects down your throat.![]()

What's wrong with post processing effects? That's how they achieve a nearly perfect real life film look. It's on purpose.Yeah, I never understood why people were talking about how it's the best looking game they've ever played when it's nearly impossible to see anything clearly when they are shoving post processing effects down your throat.
I always disable CA and motion blur but I'll try the other stuff. Even at native 4K there was no clarity.![]()

Film grain alone can make the game look like it's running 1/4th the intended resolution.I always disable CA and motion blur but I'll try the other stuff. Even at native 4K there was no clarity.
Looks mostly the ssme on consoles.
Remaster is on PC
PS5 pro is a scam. You get maybe 10 extra fps and a little bit better resolution IF they patch the game for it.
Maybe, but this isn't the best example with mister I do comparisons with sources compressed af.PS5 pro is a scam. You get maybe 10 extra fps and a little bit better resolution IF they patch the game for it.

The only 3 differences i see is
1. Ps5 pro looks abit sharper maybe due to resolution
2. Obviously with pssr as such looks like there's abit more effects on the ps5 pro version
3. I don't know if its me but the beach bit looks like they used a slight different colour tone
I'd like to know the rest of internet who talking about what expected exactly from an hardware just 45% more powerful and mostly PSSR based. Because it's not like ps5 pro has been promoted to outclass an nvidia gpu. If you people are ignorant without even know what the hardware is realistically capable of, you should just blame yourself to have bought it blindly. Specs are evidents from years.Agreed. Outside of places like GAF and the purple place, the sentiment of purchase regret seems to be common on the rest of the internet.
Yeah I love post processing effects, it's delicious. Sorry, not sorry. Bragging about disabling them though is super cringey. What's wrong with post processing effects? That's how they achieve a nearly perfect real life film look. It's on purpose.
