After a few months where PS4, while still doing good generally speaking, had not so good months for a market leader, this month was amazing. Surely more than 500,000, fantastic.

It's not too shocking. I can see a lot of people waiting to pick up a PS4 for Destiny. So while the XB1 stanalone Destiny could have sold more if you include the PS4 bundle. It most likely didn't

Maybe Pachter was especially busy with his real job and could only do a very cursory, very random guess this time around.

Great numbers. But fucking hate Bungie and Activision for getting all this cash for crap game based on only marketing hype. That is something I cant feel good about. But PS4 numbers are amazing. Sony did a brilliant job releasing this bundle.

My optimistic 600K seems far less farfetched now, but the likely gap between "close to 570k" and my 600K means I will probably loose predictions, but am still holding on for my Optimistic Xbox1 numbers^^ You can do it!!!!^^

He probably does get a lot of things right that get less attention. It's just that he occasionally makes notably bad calls when it comes to console and game sales, and when he does miss those calls people scream it from the rooftops. The example I kept seeing of him being wrong previously was for his Fuse prediction, but that was over a year ago.
