i kind of agree with beef. the wwe opposition to using talent is crazy. they trot the same guys out, misuse them and expect us to eat it. why is del rio fighting sheamus again.

then you have impact, chikara and ROH putting out quality stuff. this weeks impact had 3 good matchs

NXT has such a phenomenal roster compared to mainline WWE, I wonder if maybe the developmental system is the biggest problem they have. Could you imagine them sticking people of Chris Hero or Dean Ambrose level talent for months-years on end?
The only person I can think of who benefited from the current development system is Dolph Ziggler.

Impact had a pretty good main event and AJ/Joe was a good match. I don't think I`ll ever see another enjoyable RVD match, which is kind of sad. Also they really need to progress the Aces and Eights storyline, right now it`s paced worse than a WWE story.

40,000 people paid to see this match between WCW Champion Vader and UWFi Champion Nobuhiko Takada, generally regarded as one of the best matches of '93 and one of the best matches in UWFi history. A typically hard-hitting, but very technical shootstyle bout, Vader was hesitant going into the fight as he was unsure how Takada would act, almost as if he himself was unsure if it was a work or shoot. Crazy stiff match, especially for WWE. I believe Vader had a pretty serious leg injury coming out of this. It's basically a WWE version of a UWFI match. Shamrock also had a really weird shoot style themed match with Taker in 1999 right before Taker vanished before returning as the American Bad Ass. It was completely out of the blue for him to be doing MMAish stuff at that point.

WCW Saturday night from 91-beginning of 94 had to be the best wrestling show of all time. What I wouldn't do for year long comps for each of those years. Probably the best US wrestling of all time right there. Vader at his peak, Sting arguably at his peak, everyone in the Dangerous Alliance, Dusting Rhodes, Barry Windham, the Steiners are their craziest, Miracle Violence Connection, Lex Luger at his in ring peak, Flair, Steamboat, 2 Cold Scorpio, random baby Chris Benoit matches, Pillman...the glut of incredibly talented guys having long matches every week is unbeatable. The best time for tag team wrestling in US history, too. For sure tops the late 80s WWF and Duds/Hardys/E&C eras.
