I just got done watching the Shawn Michaels documentary on Netflix. It's a really surreal thing to me because I only watched WCW during the 90's. I knew of him, and I heard stuff, but it isn't until you hear about the specific stuff and the way it played out that you really notice how different he is. I mean, The Shawn Michaels I knew as basically the returning one, and that's it. It's so crazy that the guy who was treated like Hunter's bitch during tag matches treated everyone like his bitch during the 90's

I need to learn how to make gifs cause that DDT apartment event was fucking amazing.

I'll try and make a few later, as I'm converting some DVDs at the moment.

Here's a real quick guide to how I make mine;

01. Get your video (preferably .avi or .mp4). If you need to download it from youtube/dailymotion, go to the video page and use the PwnYoutube bookmarklet to save the video as a HQ .mp4.

02. Download and install GIMP; http://www.gimp.org/

03. Download and install GAP for GIMP; http://photocomix-resources.deviantart.com/gallery/?q=gap#/d28ngyt

04. Next, you'll want to use a program like VirtualDub, AVI Splitter or YAMB (for mp4's) to cut the specific section out from the video. (This is optional, but will make navigating the video file much easier in GAP, which can be slightly buggy).

05. Load up GIMP, and go to 'Video > Split video in to frames > Extract videorange'

06. On the videorange screen, click 'Audio track' down to 0, and check 'Create only one multi-layer image', then click on the 'Video Range' button.

07. On this screen find the button on the bottom left under the viewing screen marked 'Start Playback' - double click it and GAP will ask you if you want to make a 'Video Index' file, say yes.

08. Next, use the sliders to find and mark the start and ends of the gif and then check 'Loop', 'Selection Only' and 'Exact Timing' and then click OK.

09. Once it's done extracting the frames, go to 'Image > Scale image' and resize your image to a more suitable size.

10. Finally, go to Save and save as a .gif - on the screen that pops up, check 'Save as animation', and then on the final screen make sure 'Loop forever' is checked before clicking the save box to finish.

If the .gif is too long or your CPU is too taxed, GIMP may tell you it has to auto-insert slowdown, which can be fixed by messing with the milliseconds per frame setting on the save screen.

Man, I love stumbling upon stuff I had totally forgotten I owned - just found a DVR with no label and it's a fan-cam of an AJPW show from 1983 that wasn't taped for TV. Mighty Inoue vs Kerry Von Erich, 'Outlaw' Ron Bass vs Terry Funk and Giant Baba vs Stan Hansen in the main event, plus rookie Misawa & Kawada getting their asses kicked on the undercard

Oh wow, on the end there's a main event from later in the same year; Giant Baba, Jumbo Tsuruta & Mighty Inoue vs Roddy Piper, Dick Slater & Chavo Guerrero!

Pretty sure that wasn't taped. All of the NXT tapings have had a RAW/Smackdown superstar or two show up and put on a match after the tapings ended.

It started out as Punk vs. Cesaro and then Ohno came in and caused a DQ, and then Seth ran out and they made that match. Don't think it will ever air.
