What a fucktard...
If I were the WWE I would definitely have Punk play it up...

Audience cheers
Seriously though, those are some pretty heavy charges he's facing. No way he doesn't do time for this.
Jeff, I am disappoint.
laserbeam said:Looking at Guidelines he faces at the minimum of 5 years in prison for trafficking charges and since he is accused of trafficking multiple controlled substances I am sure much more as 5 years is for a single substance

The following is from an interview with Vince in a new Magazine the WWE is releasing next week called "The untold history of the WWE"
Question:"What about the Chris Benoit tragedy? We're two years removed - will there ever be a time when we can acknowledge him as part of WWE history?"
Vinces Answer: "It's not right to pretend he didn't exist. It's one thing to include him as part of a historical perspective, which I believe is OK, and it's another thing to promote him, which is not OK. The situation is very similar to that of O.J. Simpson - despite his controversy, O.J. was still a part of the NFL scene. You can't deny that he existed."
Really Vince, Cuse I looked at the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania magazine that was out just a few months ago. On the cover it says "Every Wrestlemania match ever inside"
I flipped to Wrestlemania XX and on the bottom corner of the two page spread is a box marked results. The last entry reads: "HHH loses World Title in world title match"
Kind of looks to me like you are pretending he never existed.
> see, this is why Punk is better than Jeff
> because Punk = Pepsi, and Jeff = Coke
iamcool388 said:No way Punk uses this. Talking about how he is better than Jeff and how Jeff is a druggie etc is one thing... to bitchslap him while he is arrested/being investigated by the Feds is a whole different level.
I think Punk would want to do it... but Vince would stop him. It'd be great if it happened though. :lol

WWE is damned if they do and damned if they don't. Are they glorifying a murder or disrespecting the people who he killed by pretending he never existed? It's a real touchy issue. I mean, it's easy to be a fan of Benoit's wrestling ability, but many people think that all of his accomplishments are now nothing because of what he did.Killing_Joke said:Wasn't he in the WWE encyclopedia? I don't get why people get so worked up over this. Benoit is a asshole.
If you go to the World Heavyweight Championship history page on WWE.com, his name is there but there is no profile about his victory, despite the fact that everyone else has a profile even people who no longer wrestle for the WWE anymore (like Angle).SanjuroTsubaki said:What's the big deal with Benoit here? His title matches are still listed on the damn website.

I think removing his profile is more than appropriate. There is information about the matches and his involvement with the title change on the site.Forkball said:If you go to the World Heavyweight Championship history page on WWE.com, his name is there but there is no profile about his victory, despite the fact that everyone else has a profile even people who no longer wrestle for the WWE anymore (like Angle).
