"I never went to rehab. I healed MYSELF!"

Audience cheers

Seriously though, those are some pretty heavy charges he's facing. No way he doesn't do time for this.

Jeff, I am disappoint.

What a fucktard...
If I were the WWE I would definitely have Punk play it up...
"I tried to tell you, but you wouldn't listen...all of you sheep in your alcohol, nicotine, and pill colored world..."

Oh I definitely would. No way that jeff has a future return to the WWE now. If convicted, he is out for a long ass time.

Looking at Guidelines he faces at the minimum of 5 years in prison for trafficking charges and since he is accused of trafficking multiple controlled substances I am sure much more as 5 years is for a single substance

poor Matt. major I am dissapoint for him.

he was probably still going to get royalties from all his merchandise sales.

right?

Vince is full of shit.

The following is from an interview with Vince in a new Magazine the WWE is releasing next week called "The untold history of the WWE"

Question:"What about the Chris Benoit tragedy? We're two years removed - will there ever be a time when we can acknowledge him as part of WWE history?"

Vinces Answer: "It's not right to pretend he didn't exist. It's one thing to include him as part of a historical perspective, which I believe is OK, and it's another thing to promote him, which is not OK. The situation is very similar to that of O.J. Simpson - despite his controversy, O.J. was still a part of the NFL scene. You can't deny that he existed."

Really Vince, Cuse I looked at the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania magazine that was out just a few months ago. On the cover it says "Every Wrestlemania match ever inside"

I flipped to Wrestlemania XX and on the bottom corner of the two page spread is a box marked results. The last entry reads: "HHH loses World Title in world title match"

Kind of looks to me like you are pretending he never existed.

but we're talking about jeff dude

No way Punk uses this. Talking about how he is better than Jeff and how Jeff is a druggie etc is one thing... to bitchslap him while he is arrested/being investigated by the Feds is a whole different level.

I think Punk would want to do it... but Vince would stop him. It'd be great if it happened though. :lol

Id actually see Vince wanting to do it, and Punk not hah

Edit @ Jeff being at home : Yeah, because Matt bailed him out

The media is the media, I wish they would at least report the story correctly & accurately. I will make a statement later. - jeff

Nate Newton is smiliing somewhere- that haul was pretty impressive.

That said, after this, Jeff's future I think is in Mexico- that haul was enough to feed the entire AAA roster for a month.

North Carolina give a dude on the Panthers 20 years for Murder (Rae Carruth) so he'll be doing some hard time most likely if this all sticks. When he comes back, just give him the Nailz gimmick.

I have some vision of Jeff in court and being cross examined and them bringing out a recording of Punk's promos about meth Hardy :lol

Ive always felt that way as well and honestly he is entitled to feel that way. The guys who stay clean and have the skill should be the ones pushed and respected.

Its kinda funny 20 years ago Punk would have been a face pushing the anti-drug agenda now that is a heel

I mean, of course that the 'im better than you' is part of his gimmick, but some of the stuff he said to Jeff....'

Punk has put a hurting on the Hardy's the likes of which Edge, Christian, and even Gangrel himself could not do...
Tapping Lita, cutting gold promos on Jeff, taking Jeff's belt, and then pulling a straight up Nostradamus on Jeff...

While Punk is straight-edge, I think I read somewhere that he doesn't really care if other people are or not, he's not trying to convert anyone.

And I think Punk's lifestyle is a huge reason why he is already a three time world champion. McMahon knows he's not going to do something stupid and ruin his life or make the WWE bad. There's nothing more embarrassing than having to vacate your company's world championship because of a drug issue. Obviously his skill on the mic, in the ring, and his illustrious indie history helped put him on the fast track, but the guarantee that your world champion isn't going to screw up and embarrass himself looks great in Vince's eyes.

Wasn't he in the WWE encyclopedia? I don't get why people get so worked up over this. Benoit is a asshole.

WWE is damned if they do and damned if they don't. Are they glorifying a murder or disrespecting the people who he killed by pretending he never existed? It's a real touchy issue. I mean, it's easy to be a fan of Benoit's wrestling ability, but many people think that all of his accomplishments are now nothing because of what he did.

SanjuroTsubaki said:
What's the big deal with Benoit here? His title matches are still listed on the damn website.
If you go to the World Heavyweight Championship history page on WWE.com, his name is there but there is no profile about his victory, despite the fact that everyone else has a profile even people who no longer wrestle for the WWE anymore (like Angle).

For the love of god, you guys have to watch the CM Punk promo on this smackdown.
The guy is freakin' amazing.
Some .gif material too!

The big problem is that nobody knows who Randy Orton beat to win his first world title. It's been driving us crazy for years now.

I think removing his profile is more than appropriate. There is information about the matches and his involvement with the title change on the site.

Back in the day you were allowed to have opinions about negative behavior. Now it isn't so PC to think and react like a normal human would to these kind of situations.
