If you can look at the game and answer the question "would Ferrio masturbate to this?" in the affirmative, it's probably an "anime" game.

It's probably listed as PS2 because they're guessing it'll hit at least that, the video showed PS2 button icons in the HUD during certain parts. I don't think they'll skip out on potential GCN Sonic sales, though, even for a spinoff.

Dude, Super Monkey Ball 1&2 are already on GC, and the graphics are better. How is that skipping out? There was no point to put deluxe on GC. There's only a handfull of new maps. it would be pointless.

fact is that 3rd parties are winding down their GC support pretty fast. PS2 to get even more goodies until PS3 is unleashed.

Fact is ...I don't care. I accept that I'm not the CEO of Namco, but I have a hard time believing GamePro. If it's PS2-exclusive, cool, if not, oh well. It certainly doesn't warrant the thread the subject has amassed, not until we get confirmation. See also: the Halo expansion thread, the PSU threads (in reference to those upset about whatever gameplay style the game will eventually follow), and quite possibly, this.

Famitsu also confirmed that Soul Calibur 3 is exclusive to PS2 too.

This is the same Sega that gave us a hedgehog haunted by his past... with a gun. Frankly, Naka/Sonic Team can just die now (or active PSU, but still). We've had some fun with Sonic, NiGHTs, and the first two PSOs, but they've overstayed their welcome.

Sega, in a news brief today had the following to say: "We are happy with the PS2 sales of DtH:RTH but dissapointed that Nintendo hasn't sold enough Gamecubes to make it a viable platform for DtH:RTH. We would have sold more copies if the Gamecube wasn't a lame cube... hey that ryhmes."
