Shahid: Dozens of games coming to Vita, DOZENS

Some indies are great. Limbo, Hotline Miami, Lone Survivor and Thomas Was Alone for example. I would be perfectly happy is he is considering any of these in his "dozens".

Sure, some feta cheese is nice, but at this point in time the PS Vita is starved for games. It needs a steak.

I'm hoping for big AAA titles, but that is becoming more unlikely as time goes on.

Completely agree. Some indies are great but they are not everything, and sadly they won't sell consoles either.

That said, I'm also looking forward to see if they announce some big Vita games on E3 and TGS. But so far I'm pleased with everything I can play on my Vita.

PSMobile games are system sellers for this guy

(I know you're partly kidding) I was thinking they might factor in to the count but with how many have been coming out lately I don't think so (100 88%).

I think he means at least 40 or so games as well. Indies included of course. To be fair, indies can be great on Vita, I know there are quite a few I'm hoping to see.

Announcements, come to me. Teasing would have really taken its toll if it wasn't for all the next-gen excitement.

Yeah, everyone else covered what I was gonna say.

I like the appetizers (and I already played those indie games on PC), but I want the main course.

I really hope the system starts to sell better and we get more and more games for it. Will Killzone be a system seller? I feel like a gran Turismo would really sell the system, though I don't play racing games. I'm hoping to see more tactical games. Such a great piece of hardware

The problem with indies is that mobile gaming is full of them. And on the flip side, some of the non-indie mobile games are approaching console quality. Well, console shovelware quality. But the Vita really isn't even getting that.

I mean, in the Vita thread, you have people recommending Dungeon Hunter from Gameloft, because Vita owners are so starved for an action loot RPG (and the only Vita original option, Silent Hill, isn't so great). But on iOS/Android, there are like 4 Dungeon Hunters, while the Vita only has the first one.

Kinda OT but i feel good listening all these muslim names in gaming all of a sudden...first yusuf mehdi, than this guy in xbox hardware labs(as showcased in gt xbox behind the scene) and this dude....

Feels good man

Middle-Eastern names, not specifically Muslim names maybe?

I've never seen anyone in the Vita thread recommend Dungeon Hunter, they're usually a much more discerning mob than that.

In that same exact list wars thread someone put Heroes of Ruin on the 3DS "2 menny gaymez" list. That game is 110% certified dildos so this isn't exactly Vita exclusive. Both handhelds could use a good Diablo-type game.

Yeah, I hope so. I mean, I like indie and bite-sized games as much as the next guy, but I'm really craving some solid, meaty titles created especially for Vita. Since I couldn't quite bring myself to buy Soul Sacrifice, the last such game I picked up was LittleBigPlanet!

So true. Dungeon Hunter would be worth getting on Vita if it was a couple bucks, but not full retail. I got it for like... 10$ I think. It's not amazing, but it scratches that dungeon crawler/loot fest itch.

Anyway, more on topic: SO EXCITED SHAHID! PLEASE DON'T LET ME DOWN MAN ;)

If it turns out that most of them are indies, then to be honest it would be disappointing for me. I want more full games for my Vita, preferably the RPG/JRPG kind...

Exclusive games are great, but why say no to more ports?!

I'm the other way around, my Vita gets way more play. I was just watching the missus play Fallout: New Vegas and thinking how incredible it'd be to have something like that on Vita.

More PS3 ports would be perfectly fine with me.

If they're on Vita, i have no interest in playing them on PS3 or PS4.

Edit: Yeah, what SmokeyDave said

I just wanted to say liaten to these guys, they are right! I play my VITA a lot more than my PS3 these days. Keep the PS3 ports comin' to my vita...

I honestly wouldn't mind a separate short Vita event at E3 if Sony feels like there isn't enough time to properly showcase it due to the PS4 stealing the show. Can't wait to see what these titles are.

Vita is an amazing piece of hardware. I really hope that the software can pick up. I've let myself get hyped and disappointed before, so I will remain cautiously optimistic.

New games are great, I also wouldn't mind seeing Hitman come over as a collection.
