Anyone else think that Shakira sounded terrible singing in English? Maybe it was my poor Spanish, but I think that Shakira sounded so much more at ease in Spanish. When she crossed over to English... it was like, wtf, this is awful. Like the English version of "Ojos Asi"... :lol And the sexed up image. Raise your hands if you found all the bare skin in "Laundry Service" to be disturbingly different from her previous album covers. But now she's got a new Spanish album out, and it seems pretty ok so far. "La Pared" (the version with piano of course), "Obtener Un Si" and "La Tortura" with Alejandro Sanz seem to stand out so far.
Maybe the album will grow on me, but so far not much has surpassed "Antologia", "Tu" or "Inevitable". Still, this album has several tracks that can be playing on KOST 103.5 (er I mean Super Estrella) for quite a while from now.
