Even though I am a firm supporter of Team Deadman, it is kind of sad to see HBK go.

One of the best all around performers of his and any generation. To think we are talking about a man who came back 8 years ago after a career ending back injury to put on matches that still exceed some of the best that younger, more agile men try and pull off.

You knew when he was in the ring you would get a show. No matter his opponent.

Angle/Lesnar Iron Man Match

Okay, that and Angle/Eddie at SummerSlam 2003 were the only other contenders I could think of honestly. Oh and Angle/Benoit at Rumble 2003.

One of my favorite overlooked HBK matches was him and Shelton back around 2005 or so.. just a match in raw.. I remember Shelton going for a backflip clotheslines and HBK hitting him with a superkick in mid air whilst Shelty was upside down.

Fucking insane match.

Memory was a bit fuzzy.. but I remember that match being just insane. That kick is still brutal.
