HBK sucks.
Worst showman in the WWF.
Terrible sells.
No charisma.
Bad finisher.
In some of the worst matches in wrestling history.

Except the opposite of all that

I will miss his selling

This is the reason I stopped watching really after the Steve Austin/Rock era ended, Austin was funny and a badass to my young teen self, and the Rock was just awesome and could sell like someone possessed. Best Stunner sell ever from The Rock. After that well, apart from HBK, HHH and Undertaker, I wasn't feeling the rest of the cast. They all really looked the same, there were no really great gimmicks apart from Cena's but he just picked up on Eminem's popularity and sold it well. Orton, Rhodes etc were all pretty generic to me.

Bret > Shawn

This guy should've retired a long ass time ago.

Bret is good, but he is no Michaels.

The reason Shawn will always get the edge in my book is that he was the all around package. Bret was an excellent worker, but he was so-so on the mic. He wasn't awful, he could speak, he had passion and intensity, but just didn't have "it"

Honestly, his "Sweet Chin Music" was and always will be my favorite finisher. I love it when he stomped in the ring signaling that it was coming. So many great memories of HBK over the years.

Footage of HBK after the match.

Him and Bret talking like old friends.

awww

if hes "legitimately" gone (i know....wrasslin n all) then this was a pretty cool send off, difference between hbk and flair is that hbk has a young family to go home to, and enough money in the bank to never have to work again in his life. I say enjoy the fruits of your labor Shawn, you were the best!

That was good to see - those two have been such an important part of each others careers.

I can only hope that the younger wrestlers are able to learn from the likes of Michaels, Hart and Undertaker. The amount of experience and raw talent in those three is staggering - it would be great if they could be retained in some sort of mentoring capacity.

this is what ill probably happen, he may not wrestle anymore but he will still be part of the wwe for a long time.

Shawn Michaels goes to the Urban Active (used to be Gold's Gym) near my house. He's nowhere near as big (or attractive) as he appears on TV. :lol

He only thought he was cute.

But he knew he was sexy. :lol

Most wrestlers aren't all that big. Cameras make them look "larger than life", but you're surprised when you meet them in person.

I've met more than my sahre and it turns out I'm bigger (in some cases MUCH) than these guys I grew up idolizing and now respect. Bret caught me off guard with how small he was, Jericho and Shawn are incredibly tiny.

Macho Man stopped by my Gold's Gym and did ONE set of upright shrugs on a smith machine, with like 50 pounds on, and left. :lol

Hogan and his family worked out A LOT many years ago when their reality show was starting up. His son is a HUGE douchebag. VH1 even filmed a scene of Hogan, his wife, and daughter doing yoga at my gym.

Hmm. Who else worked out at my gym.....that one fat dude with the blonde mullet who's friends with Hogan. He was on their reality TV show a few times where he had to babysit the kids.

Anyway, I remember watching the scrambled PPV channel as a little kid, just listening and hoping to get a few seconds of clear footage of the main events.

Still remember when Power & Glory fucked up his knee, and when he came back he was a bit more cocky and arrogant, which basically was the start of his break-up from Janetty.

I stopped watching wrestling, but Shawn is a legend.

*bow*

He was the most entertaining wrestler, but I also prefered Bret over him.

I've always liked Shawn. Awesome in-ring, and he's acted like a goofball sometimes, which got some laughs out of me.

But at the end of the day, I know, and everyone did, that he was the best to ever grace the squared circle. Everyone and their mothers emulated this on the school playground when I was younger:

If this is truly goodbye, Goodbye Shawn Michaels -- The Show-stopper, the Icon, the Main Event and most noteably, Mr. Wrestlemania.

Please tell me you are kidding. He was the best worker in the company as of last night and still one of the best on the mic.
