Sherlock Series 3 |OT| - THE Source for Fiction’s Cheekbone Fetish

The "drunk deductions" stole my heart because as soon as Sherlock took a sip of alcohol I was waiting for it to happen and it didn't disappoint.

As I said I really enjoyed those parts of Sign of Three but Reichenbach had so many 'OH SHIT' moments it just blew me away. I think have a big central antagonist really helps for me; Adler, Moriarty & Magnussen are the highlights of the show for me.

Woooooow, I had no idea people loved Scandal so much. I thought Irene Adler was pretty disappointing in the first half of the episode, at least. The woman "who beats him" does it by sticking a needle in his arm? Really?

I think Reichenbach Fall is still my favorite. It has such an apocalyptic (for the lack of a better word) vibe, like things falling apart and you, as a spectator, being completely powerless to stop it.

Yeah, Empty Hearse "kinda" retcons it and that makes it lose most of its impact on retrospective... but maybe I can apply some selective memory and/or not-giving-a-shit-about-it attitude and still enjoy it. TEH was a bit of a fourth wall-breaking episode and I'll just imagine it's mostly out of continuity (?)

So I'd say my list would be something like this:

Reichenbach>Scandal>Great Game/Sign of Three>Last Vow>Hearse/Study>Banker/Hounds

which means outside my top three I'm really undecided.

This would make the wait much more bearable if they did this.

And Hounds > Blind Banker any damn day.

Ya'll mad ! Blind Banker got the definitive moment in which Watson owned Sherlock. Watson was smart enough to take a photo of the graffiti while Sherlock was freaking out about whether Watson can memorize the graffiti code properly was priceless.

...Hounds at least got Sherlock to realize that John Watson is his best friend. The moment Sherlock realized that he was being a douchebag to John, that was character growth right there.

I'll take character growth for Sherlock over Watson's ownage.

Funny enough, Scandal featured Sherlock getting owned but he also grew as well.

Sherlock created the looping Moriarty .gif as a contingency in case they sent him away for killing CAM. It was the only clever thing he did the whole episode and I'm glad it paid off. ;)

Doesn't make sense. You actually SEE Moriarty in the clip, they just don't show that part they just show the bobbing mouth. If you look at the scene in the Pub, you actually see Moriarty looking away from the camera and then it cuts to the weird GIF thing.

So the after credit scene was also a part of the movie played on all the screens.

I had absolutely no clue "#bondlock" was a thing.

Just that Whishaw is the most talented british actor younger than Benny that I could picture being related to him and Gatiss.

Series 4 should be Sherlock coming back and destroying the Quantum organization cause they sorta just left that hanging in the air in Bond.

Bond, Sherlock, and John have to team up to stop a Moriarty-influenced Quantum from destroying England.

BOOM.

Edit: Oh my God, don't google 'bondlock'. I should realize by now that Tumblr has gay porn of every possible mail pairing ever.

There was not nearly enough Lestrade in this series. Maybe I'm misremembering how much he was in Series 1 and 2.

I think Sherlock would have noticed if he hadn't actually blown his brains out.

Moriarty knew that Sherlock knew that Moriarty knew that Sherlock knew his plan.

How to make tumblr collectively orgasm:

Sherrinford "Sherry" Holmes, youngest brother, played by Ben Whishaw.

Haha I mentioned something like that a couple days ago. A younger Holmes brother would explode the internet. I think the fandom's already cast either him or Colin Morgan ( the Merlin actor ) as Sherrinford as far as I've seen.

I like them all too, damn the haters.

I think BB is my least favorite, but I didn't hate it at all.

Bahaha yes me too. I think being Chinese just makes watching BB all the more cheesier.

This MUST have been written on fanfiction.net already...

I don't doubt it.

M/Mycroft snark-offs.

Bond/John shooting at villains together.

Sherlock accidentally seducing a Bond girl with his brain.

Molly Hooper jealous of Moneypenny for some reason.

Sherlock tinkering with gadgets.

Bond punching Sherlock.

Bondlock is really popular :/ It's more popular than Superwholock.

I avoid it all the time. I hate crossovers.

I just finished the last ep. I just wish they'd made you hate Magnusson earlier. I wanted to hate him more.

It was a good season without the slightly saggy middle ep. The first two episodes might have lacked strong plots in favour of character development and gags but they were worth it.

Now, i dont want to wait two years for another season.

Yes, i did miss you.

BBC are aiming for a Christmas 2014 release apparently.

Also I think my favorite crossover is Hanlock if only for the gifsets that come out of it.

Hahaha, that was funny.

I bet now that the Mikkelsen brothers are on both shows (not to mention they both like to sniff people and have a rollodex and mind palace), the crossover became worse? XD

Hanlock, Bondlock?

Hannibal is played by Mads Mikkelson who starred in the Bond movie Casino Royale, whose brother is Lars Mikkelson who played CAM in Sherlock. With these real world connections, I think we can make these crossovers canon.

On hiatus for less than 48 hours, even Gaflock starts writing crossovers.

It's really not and it's shitiness hurts. Sherlock's mostly great but it annoys me that they fucked up such an iconic story.

I think it's the worst Sherlock episode and the most bungled adaptation they've done, but shitty is probably too extreme.

Hounds is probably the most iconic Holmes story, but why is it that iconic? Because it's the most adapted story and has a pretty cool twist. Well, the twist involves Sherlock himself not being in most of the episode, and I don't see how that could work for this show.

BBC are aiming for a Christmas 2014 release apparently.

With Doctor Who just starting filming on a 13 episode run and likely a CHristmas special, to air from Summer through Fall - I can't see Moffat having the time for that.

Best case scenario IMO, is they shoot in early 2015 and air in Fall 2015.

Yo NotTheGuyYouKill, when's the sitcom script gonna be done? Need to balance out the serious with the romcom. :p

I'm proofreading it now before I do a second draft.

There's this one scene where Mrs Hudson's pot accidentally gets dropped into Mary's lovely little dinner prepped for John. And then he goes to a crime scene, and Greg has to arrest him while attempting to charm Molly who is oblivious to his attempts to charm. It's all quite charming.

So...pot-ladened pot roast? Sounds delicious.

Greg: "Oh this? Nah, he just needs some time to sleep off the high but I have to make it look like it's an actual bust... Think you'd be available for coffee afterwards? Would love to pick your brain after you pick Helen Louise's..."
