Man in a suit isn't the problem, it's how lazy it looks, they think this is 1965, gonna put a man in suit, do a better job of tricking me....
Man in suit style isn't the problem its that the suit in this movie looks incredibly stiff. Heisei era Godzilla looked perfectly fine
It looks good to me, several shots are pretty damn awesome but opinions and all. Then again I don't really want to see Godzilla fighting other monsters either so I'm probably already in the minority there.
Did I watch some spinoff to Evangelion? Heh. What's this moving going for anyway?
this looks like evangelion or is it just me ?
Man in suit really ins't the problem here. It's just really not well done here. Godzilla just standing 90% of the time in the trailer with his tail moving like that lol, plus the speed at which his tail is moving doesn't sell the scale.2016 and still looks like a dude in a suit...come on Japan, spend some money on CGI..
All I need to see. Will forgive the bad CG of the helicopters if his beam is on point.![]()

Normally life comes out of a Vagina but only atomic death comes out of Godzilla's mouth pussy.
Get ready for power lines and trains. He sure likes his shots of artillery/tanks firing in unison.

This suit is much thicker around the legs than the 1954 suit. Ironically, it's most like the Heisei suits in that regard.I think that by choice, it pretty obvious they want 1954 godzilla style suit.
This movie is a reboot, first time humans see Godzilla.Yes there is a strong theory that says that he is the original Godzilla from the 1954 Gojira movie

This trailer is already a million times better than that Legendary's crap.
How so? All the trailer showed was some concerned looking Japanese people in meeting rooms and the military shooting at a moving tower shaped like Godzilla.
The Atomic breath is giving me GMK feelsI enjoyed this trailer, and am really anticipating this Godzilla movie. The design is just growing more and more on me. I really like how Godzilla feels like a damn lava flow, slowlly rolling in and destroying everything in his pass. I like that Godzilla looks like he can barely even movie. It makes him look immense, and in complete agony.
The overall atmosphere of the trailer is great, and is exactly what I want out of a Godzilla movie. My favorite film in Godzilla Returns/1985, and the best film in the series is Gojira bar none, so I really wanted to get back to this kind of Godzilla. film There really is a feeling of great despair, and a lack of hope. Godzila looks to be completely unstoppable, like the force of nature he should be. Man will pay for their sins lol.
And man, what the fuck was going on with his mouth at the end of trailer? Can't wait to see what kind of thermonuclear breath weapon Godzilla is packing in this, because that shit looked nasty.
I really hate this design. Godzilla 2014 was such a good Showa film I don't know if Japan can match up.

Best Godzi movie as far as I'm concerned, it's only flaw was the terrible CGI. I loved the white pupils look.
It's my favorite millennium film by far, love it. I have the poster framed in my room, because it looks fucking awesome:
There was something cool about a straight up malevolent Godzilla.
I wonder how it compares to the second trailer for the Amercian Godzilla.
Did I watch some spinoff to Evangelion? Heh. What's this moving going for anyway?
Don't forget the Cicada soundGet ready for power lines and trains.

I'm running with the theorythis is just a corpse of the original Godzilla, the look definitely imitates the original Godzilla in a number of ways, but more... Corpse-ier. Then his trail is fucking huge though, AND his tail has a face, like it has eyes, a teeth, and such on the tail at the end to imply the tail has a life of its own. I think the reason it shambles so lifelessly is that this is a literal walking corpse of the original Godzilla being controlled by a parasite that's situated in its tail, and I'm betting the fact it's a walking corpse of Godzilla is playing up some major symbolism here.
Even though it most resembles a heisei design?I don't really like the design in this one
It's just trying too hard and I've never been a big fan of the more gimmicky designs like most of the Millenium series. Which why I'd always like the Heisei design since it was a natural evolution of the original design.
I just wish we could see an updated 54 design without the design bits that make it look like it came from FNAF.
Even though it most resembles a heisei design?
GMK is alright but Ghidorah as a good guy didn't sit well with me. Best Millennium era movie is Final Wars. I actually think Godzilla 2000 is a tad underrated as well.
It does kinda remind me of burning Godzilla with the glowing parts.I don't recall any of the Heisei Design ever having a decomposing look to it, but maybe it's just me.
Looked terrible. Godzilla looks like a fucking toy. Why can't Japan get its budget and CGI right?

Yeah, that's a great poster.
It was actually the first japanese Godzilla movie I ever saw. Those films were not very popular in my country but after hearing about it online I imported the chinese dvd from a shady website around 2003. I fell in love with it and ended up watching every movie in the series.
I miss the Millenium era, it started just ok but after GMK it became great and stayed that way until the end even though GMK was never topped.
Its Hideki Anno directing so its most likely done totally on purpose.
That doesn't say a whole lot. Eva 3.33 spared no expense in the animation department. Unless his approach to live action is totally different.
I might be able to catch this in theaters...I definitely gotta see if it I can.
