Thank you everyone. I will retire on May 31st (Tuesday) today. During my tenure, I am very grateful to all of you in various fields. From now on, I would like to support you as a SQUARE ENIX fan. I'm really thankful to you.

Although being the ultimate troll of our time, he was an EXCELLENT president and put Square (once again) on the radar after Wada botched the shit out of the franchise.

Take it easy Hashimoto-san.

Finally, let's see some new talent start to usher in. Within the next 10 years, not just SE but a lot of game companies will be experiencing a massive paradigm shift - with an influx younger, conscious people.

Guy was a producer for more than just a handful of SE big titles though.

Who says new, younger people will be better? Everyone shits on Nomura, but there was a time when he was a younger upstart too.

Going to miss him and the legendary memes. Hope he enjoys his retirement and thank you for the work on FF and KH!
