There's a guy who's been playing the PS3 version and giving detailed impressions. He has been reporting his times after each chapter.
He last beat Chapter 10 (of 15), and his total playtime so far is 10 44 47.

Yeah, that's definitely shorter. Although you can tack on a couple more seconds for the fade to black between death and the official load screen.

Edit: WOW I looked over some things
yes and no. lol I looked over the weapons I had in Dark Souls 2 and they helped me out later on. In RE, shotguns are OP. They clear a path during a short range attack almost all the time.

It's been pretty incredible to watch the progression from the really negative early impressions of TEW to how excited people are now. I've always been interested in it since it's Mikami + survival horror, but even my excitement is increasing as these final impressions are being posted. Can't freaking wait until Tuesday.

I can't really go into detail but the video someone posted above shows a clear enough indication of the FPS in my experience. As for the music, as it's been noted in the videos released by Sessler, it's very moody and atmospheric moreso. If your into that sort of thing, I can't think people won't like it.

Is there a comparison for Xbox 360 to Xbox One? I'm tempted on just getting the Xbox 360 version.

Question about the music: is there an option to turn it off in the options? I know that sounds weird, but I like to turn off the music in immersive games to make them more immersive. I know most people think that's blasphemy, but it's my own private Idaho. Resident Evil 4 didn't let you turn off the music, which is why I ask...

Playing the bayonetta 2 demo for the third time in a row it suddenly struck me. In the next two weeks we get:
a) A survival horror title from the guru behind the whole genre and director of countless classics ... Mikami
b) high octane action from the director of DMC and protege of Mikami ... Kamiya
After playing the demo I already now bayonetta 2 is 10/10 material. And all the stuff you here about TEW is sounding great ...
Ps. Of course I knew this before but it is so close now ... Its becoming real
Same here, playing Bayo 2 demo and waiting for TEW, great times. Capcom's golden age is back without Capcom.

Not sure about costumes, but Mikami confirmed in a previous interview the game has unlockables, and that he specifically mentioned 'bigger guns' after you've completed the game.

I think Bethesda's confidence in their non internally developed titles might be shaky still. The track record hasn't been the greatest for what they've published thus far. This looks to break that trend though

Even with Steam? Most Steam stuff is just activated from the jump.
The pack straight up gives you a gun right away. Dead Space did the same thing essentially.

Completely forgot they published that, which is weird cause I know that used idtech5. Well hopefully they'll begin loosening the reigns on the embargos after that and this (assuming it reviews well).
