Dusk Golem
A 21st Century Rockefeller
The person playing the PS3 version of the game who's so far has completed 10 chapters lists so far his pros and cons of the game:
"Pros
Gunplay is satisfying
Awesome architecture
Varied environments
Atmosphere - It feels like RE4's Village some point, at some another feels like Silent Hill's otherworld, at another Lovecraft"ish"
Some awesome lighting
Very mature story, characters and themes (of course compared to RE series not Planescape Torment
Upgrade mechanics ( character upgrades, weapon upgrades)
Agony Bow ( all in one, harpoons, explosives, shock and flash bolts)
Fewer supplies in some chapters
Randomized enemies and supplies
Length (so far it seems very good)
Replayability ( I will definitely replay it at least once)
Stealth ( while it doesn't works with some enemies, it is still very useful)
Melee weapons are satisfying to use
Creative bosses
It doesn't have any fillers, every part of the game is crafted well
Cons
Puzzles are not hard ( I never had to think about what to do, they are very straight)
Technical problems ( very rare texture streaming issues, some clipping issues, graphical inconsistency, minor/major lighting issues which one level is full of, cutscenes)
Only medium and easy difficulty is avaible at the start (you need to beat it once to unlock higher ones
Easy bosses
Questions
It didn't bother me but the game might be running around 25-28 fps. It is how it makes me feel anyway. I don't think it runs rock solid 30. Digital Foundry or some tech guys will explain.
The time will show but we probably got the worthy successor to Resident Evil 4. All in all aside from some minor issues I find it really awesome. The ones at the Capcom should do seppuku because they lost Mikami and his team.:"
