Oh my goodness I am getting so excited for this game. It doesn't seem that scary to me (and I am a big wuss) but the atmosphere looks amazing. This stream is getting me so pumped!!

EDIT: Somehow the stream looks veeeery dark. A lot darker than other material of that demo chapter ... don't know if it's the stream
or if the game changed from early versions in this regard
It's happened a couple of times. I'm expecting a midnight release, though.
The aiming looks quite awkward in those tight spaces, especially as the camera is zoomed in quite far.
It shouldn't be an issue in the more open areas, though.

Playing the bayonetta 2 demo for the third time in a row it suddenly struck me. In the next two weeks we get:
a) A survival horror title from the guru behind the whole genre and director of countless classics ... Mikami
b) high octane action from the director of DMC and protege of Mikami ... Kamiya
After playing the demo I already now bayonetta 2 is 10/10 material. And all the stuff you here about TEW is sounding great ...
Ps. Of course I knew this before but it is so close now ... Its becoming real

I know I found a shotgun in chapter 3. I just can't recall if it was the hunting shotgun or just something else.
That's a close up during gameplay?
If so, geez... This game certainly became quite a looker in the last six months because I was not impressed at all with the early footage of it.

Wow! Is this in-game from gameplay or from a cutscene? Looks really good. I wonder if the next-gen versions also have such detailed textures and lighting for enemies too.

That'd be the regular shotgun. I asked the person on chapter 11, and they say they have not come across the Hunting Shotgun so far in their playthrough, but they did just find the
magnum.

Not sure in The Evil Within, but in most games the Hunting Shotgun is a double-barreled shotgun that is extremely powerful with great damage output and throwback. But the downside to it is that it has to reload after every shot or two and usually takes a bit of time to reload. It's a personal favorite gun of mine in most video games it appears in, I want to see how good TEW Hunting Shotgun is, but been curious if it's a Fighting Chance Pack exclusive or if it's actually in the normal game.

The "fighting chance" pack is actually why I haven't pre ordered. It's a survival game, getting free stuff from the jump because I pre ordered the game is so immersion breaking and goes against what the game is about imo.

Was actually answered on Twitter, apparently the Hunting Shotgun is exclusive to the Fighting Chance pack.
I'll be playing with it disabled the first time, but will definitely use the Hunting Shotgun when I play Akumu difficulty.

Well, it seems pretty irrelevant on top of that, to the point where it's kinda funny. Oh man, three shotgun shells! Don't spend em all in one place.
Nowhere near as ridiculous as the Dead Space 2 and 3 preorder stuff. Straight up gave you some of the most overpowered shit in the game from the get-go.
