Yup. Richard's definitely on an arc this season.

He's also the straight-man which in a comedy is an under appreciated skill sometimes.

Yep - his reactions to Jared's subtle insanity are amazing. His response after Jared mentioned how it was good no cameras were allowed at the Gates wedding because now you can imagine it however you want was priceless.

Mhm I'm more for Jared and Richard (and Ehrlich) than Gilfoyle and Dinesh. Which I did not at all expect getting into the show, because I've long loved Starr and Nanjiani while I was mixed on stuff I'd seen Woods in and didn't even have Middleditch on my radar. Gilfoyle and Dinesh are such satellite characters, they sometimes have very funny scenes (SWOT, when they talk about Bighead) but they are rigidly C-stories and they aren't at all fleshed out. Jared is right in the middle of everything and a driving force to get Richard to do things, so he's part of the plot engine and delivering incredible lines about prioritizing hos behind bros.

Richard is amazing with his social awkwardness. Ehrlich is incredible too. Gilfoyle is the man. Jared is pretty great. Dinesh... eh... could do without him.

New episode tonight:
White Hat/Black Hat

Richard accidentally sparks a feud that leads him to become paranoid about security; Jared exaggerates about Pied Piper; Gavin must face pressure from board members.

It's that time of the week again. :) Sunday nights for me are now Silicon Valley Sundays. I look forward to seeing the show that much. It's my favourite show on TV right now by a mile. Really excited to see the episode later and return here afterwards for the reactions. The episode is airing in about 4.5 hours. Looking forward to it.

Ok, this was a shitty episode that was saved by some great comedic moments.

I mean, the Tequila/Delete bit was funny, but when you think about, it didn't make a single lick of sense. lol

No longer boycotting the Wolfenstein franchise
That climax was funny, but stupid. I think I would have preferred Richard's stupidity with Sam to have been what screwed them over.

russ is the fucking worst lmao

great episode, but this good ending/bad ending cycle they keep doing is getting tiresome.

I agree, but at least it's balanced by the fact that Hooli hasn't had ANY good news the entire season.

I love the filename for the files they were downloading on their servers.

Eh. Felt like more of the same and no great joke(SWAT board etc.) to save it. I freaking love Russ though. Best new character.

God this episode was frustrating.

First you have Richard who is dumb enough to go meet with the guy twice and then Russ the idiot comes in and deletes all the precious porn.

Only good news is Gavin is more fucked then anyone.

This is the first episode this season that I found kind of hard to pay attention to, but that may be because Game of Thrones had like 30 minutes of nonstop incredible action right before it. I'll have to give it another go with my girlfriend in a couple of days.
