Single men wash their sheets four times a year

3-4 times a year
enough for me. they get dirty as fuck again anyway in 2-3 days.

what I'm doing is changing the bedside when it's getting too filthy though. I have a fullsize bed and I put always both blankets and pillows (I'm still used to it from having a beloved woman by side 8 years ago).

Every 10 minutes an alarm wakes me from my slumber and I wash my sheets and rotate my mattress.

The rest of you might as well be sleeping in garbage compared to me.

Still too dirty for my liking. I now sleep in the bath tub with the water constantly running.

Three days? Sleeping in your filth you disgusting pig.

I wash my sheets twice a day incase I want to nap before I sleep. There might be dust.

I have a dog and she sleeps with me, so for that alone I wash them at a higher rate.

But weekly at the very least is what I would expect.

Do you live with an Army drill instructor or something?

Hmm, I'm so used to having a washer and dryer in my place that I forget that's not standard in a lot of cities. I know when I'm visiting NY it's rare to find an apartment with one inside the unit.

Not sure if I'd be washing my sheets as often if the means to do it weren't right there.

Some of y'all are still disgusting though, but I'm well past being shocked by these threads. By the next one I'll just be silently judging you -_-

Do they also like to roll around in their own shit and eat from the floor like the animals they are? Three months in the same unwashed sheets?

If that burst your pipes would be totally fucked. Makes sense.

it would also start to mold as wet saw dust is insanly hard to dry

why would you iron your sheets

hotels and hospitals have to iron the sheets because the high heat reliably destroys the spores of dermatophytes
(i don't iron my sheets. hell, i don't even own an iron)

When I was single I would wash them at least every few weeks, obviously more often before or after I had company coming.

Since my fiancée handles most of the washing now, I don't even think about it.

Sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers every month on the 1st

I dunno what you nasty people are doing in your beds that require weekly changes

I shower every night before I get into bed, to get the days grime and dirt off

If you are one of those people who only shower in the morning you need to rethink your life

Just like we don't really need shampoo or soap, we don't need to wash the sheets either.

It's nothing more than a modern social convention (most probably pushed by companies), we evolved to resist the dirt, bacterias, whatever.

I don't feel like embracing smegma any time soon.

I do it once a week, but I started doing it when I was a teenager to help with acne, and it just stuck. I feel gross if I don't do it that often now, and find the fact most men do it every 3 months really nasty.
