It's playable, but don't expect to pull fancy combos or 360s reliably.
Some characters like Squiggly are not that bad to play on keyboard, but good lord don't even try to play properly with Fillia

I know that fighting games usually don't work on keyboards, but have you guys tried Skullgirls playing on keyboard? How was it?

I feel keyboard works better than the standard console controllers, with the exception of 360 moves.
Mike recently added more leniency to 360 input specifically for keyboard. As in Beowulf patch recently.
Also, they are super easy if use a hitbox like keyboard setting for directions. (a = L d =R s = D space = U

Out of curiosity, how do keyboard players map the directional buttons? Space bar as 'up' makes 360's fairly doable. It's playable, but don't expect to pull fancy combos or 360s reliably.
pretty good video on how to get around Peacock's projectile game:

Next event is going to be a 16 man bracket composed of the top placers in the previous event.
Even though it was mostly stuff I knew I actually learned some things about the cast in the second part of the show. The whole thing was super detailed which I enjoyed, but it did feel like a bit too much at some points heh. : x
Looks like there are more people registered for SG at combo breaker than marvel 3. Interesting.

Pretty sure Mike said that Skullgirls also has the most people traveling in for it, apparently, and the most international competitors.

does anyone know if the ps4/ps3 driver works with ps360+ circuit boards? I use a custom hotbox with a ps360+. Want to make sure i'm ready for sf4 and sg on ps4.
@teamspooky: @Skullgirls it will be this saturday 8 pm eastern. Prime time slot #endthecurse@teamspooky
Since the internet at the venue had problems, Spooky is going to restream Skullgirls Top 8 this Saturday at 8pm est (5pm pst)
Hey, Rav. You need to school these AAA developer fools on how to use the ps3 stick driver. This dualshock tethering thing sounds...unnecessary. I am glad they're at least using the driver though.
Got some Tfc news.
TFC - The Fall Classic would like to show some love to the Skullgirls community 😍
The
Skullgirls tournament at Tfc 2k15 will be FREE entry with a $500 pot bonus.
Earlfriend said:If Summer Jam 9 (Aug 28 in Pennsylvania) gets 64+ entrants for SG, they'll add $500 to the prize pot, AND Big E Gaming will add $500, so a total of $1000.
SG was also added to The Fall Classic (Sept 11-13th in North Carolina). No mention of pot bonus stuff AFAIK.
SG was alllllso added to North East Championships 16 (NEC XVI - Dec 6-8, again in Pennsylvania) with a $500 pot bonus.
Rav, I'd be interested to hear your take on the usfiv port glitchfest. Has lab zero had similar difficulties porting sg to the ps4?
Spooky posted a video with some preview footage of the Top 8 from Combo Breaker: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNyFChIuFIk
Whoever gave Double the line "OPEN CARRY", I salute you lol
