I had two giant bubbles on mine when I installed it, luckily you can massage them out. I wrapped my thumb with a cloth and pushed the bubbles towards the edge of the screen until they were completely gone.
Sliding the Switch in and out of the dock will inevitably scratch the screen

They also include a card to push them out, standard for this stuff. As long as there is no dust the bubble should go.
Applied the official Nintendo one today and it really made it less noticeable. Small bubble on protector but by bezel
I've got it down to one now, but it's giving me trouble. Near the edge of the screen and it refuses to move. I don't see any dust either. I'm guessing it'll work out itself over time, but I'll keep messing with it for a bit.
I had the same issue with one of them being stubborn like that. Took me about 30-40 minutes to get it to completely go away. Just keep at it and hopefully you'll get rid of the bubble.
I had one too and the card didn't work. I used some very hard pressure with my thumb sliding the bubble toward the edge, and eventually it came out after a few minutes of repeated pushing. I have to say I've been really impressed with this Amfilm protector so far and it's vastly exceeded my expectations. It's completely undetectable unless you look at the outer edges, and even slightly more fingerprint-resistant than the actual Switch screen. I would say it's an improvement, really. Glad I got this one.

I just installed my amfilm tempered glass protector on my Switch using the steamy shower bathroom method. Went pretty well, though I've got some bubbles that don't wanna move (they were the result of a big bubble I worked from the middle to here).
Any chance these will just disappear over time? Or do I just need to count myself lucky that this is as bad as I got it and move on lol?

My Orzly turned up today from G-Hub. Will stick it on after work.
My Orzly Premium Tempered Glass screen protector also finally arrived today from an Amazon.co.uk order. I already have the Hori protector on though, although two dust particles trapped on the left side of the screen, one quite long. I'm guessing it's fine to leave them in there? Tried to remove the Hori protector with tape and it just doesn't want to come off, so leaving it.

Perhaps a little late to reply, but I have the AmFilm and it's great. My only complaint is that the bubbles were more difficult to squeeze out than most phones I've done, but it's perfect other than that. It feels better than the stock screen imo, because it's glass instead of the cheap-feeling plastic.

I finally got my Orzly screen protector too, and it seems fine enough. Interestingly it now obviously rubs against the small rubber pads on the dock, leaving clear smudges on the bottom of the screen. There really isn't much clearance at all if a screen protector a fraction of a millimetre thick is the difference between the sides rubbing or not.
Not a huge problem, but I now have to physically push down slightly to overcome the friction instead of being able to just drop it on the dock.

Ugh. I'm so fucking pissed that I fucked up installing my amFilm protector. I thought it went perfectly even though it took me too long to feel good about how I lined it up. But then I noticed like ten dust fibers under the glass, four of the longest ones almost in the middle of the screen! FML. They are not bubbling at all, just the fibers. But you can see them clearly in every goddamn game. I even installed in a steamy bathroom too.
Other than that it will obviously protect the screen well and it looks tremendous as far as clarity and thickness. The product quality is there obviously. So I'm hesitant to scrap it and try again with the replacement protector they give you, as I see no reason why it would be any more dust free the 2nd time around. Role of the dice basically. Would love to find an environment where there is literally no dust.

Just installed mine, it's 99% perfect with no dust or marks underneath. I agree that it's a bit harder to push down in the dock now, but what you describe (about having to push down) is what I had to do with my dock anyway. It was even worse before I stretched the dock myself.
The dock build is completely shoddy, it's a joke.
I don't think it's the thickness of the screen protector, more so the change in friction between plastic on plastic and plastic on glass
I had the exact same bubbles and I managed to push them out after 30 minutes. Use a credit card or ID card to push them out, the one included in the packaging is weak and bends.

Now I'm wondering two things:
Should I just rip off the Hori and directly put the Orzly on, or clean in between?
Also, is the steam in the bathroom ok? I was worried about condensation insider there. I was sweating while applying the Hori.

This is how I did it (with amfilm):
1. Align screen protector on screen.
2. Use 2-3 of the dust stickers to make a hinge (like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5zU1KtBQB4. I recall someone saying they leave a harsh residue? This was not my experience and their adhesive was very simple to wipe off with the standard wet/dry wipe.
3. When ready, turn on a hot shower in your bathroom. Close the door for 8-10 minutes. Make sure you have a surface where you can properly apply it.
4. Return to the (hopefully steamy) bathroom and peel off adhesive side of protector. Lay it down (working together with the hinge you placed). You may exit the bathroom now.
5. Press the top and edges of the protector with the tools provided and squeeze out remaining bubbles. Check the middle of them to ensure they're not dust.
6. That's it! *You may leave it to sit for a while, if you want.
Most important tip is to align the screen protector before hinging very precisely. You're pretty much giving all of you faith to it once you apply, so open and close the hinge to check it out after you've made the hinge.

ended up putting on an am film screen protector and using electric tape on the switch dock. Sound good enough? I feel like the electric tape may be too much with the screen protector, it makes a nice fit but a little harder to easily slide out.
anyways the amfilm installation was great, didn't try anything like using a bathroom and hot shower tho.

Just installed the amFilm today. Canned air to blow dust off and out of the Switch in a steamy bathroom helped me get a flawless installation. No bubbles underneath. Started using it with my bent dock; smudges are still appearing in the lower left and right side of the screen, but it buffs right out with zero scratches on the amFilm.

Apparently there is a money back guarantee on the amFilm, not sure though.

Sorry to hear. Alas, there's no 100% guarantee with the method that no hairs/dust will find its way, I can only share what worked for me. As others in the thread have said, some didn't use it at all and got no dust. Hopefully you can work the guarantee I believe I read on the Amfilm packaging.
Has anyone on here actually had scratches they were unable to rub off? I'm pretty cavalier with how I shove mine in and out of the dock, and do it multiple times per day. At this point its probably gone in and out of the dock about 50 times and no scratches or marks or anything. And my dock is positioned pretty far into my tv cabinet, I need to reach in and often dont put it in straight, or it drops a bit etc. No scratches.

Multiple people. In fact, the group with wipeable "scratches" is the minority of people reporting scratches. I can confirm my brother has scratches on his screen protector from careful use with a (stretched via book) straight dock.
