This happened to me the other day, a kid from across the street yelled at me 'Can I have one?!'

I said 'one what?'

He was obviously not the age to be smoking, nor the age to be yelling from across the street. I did not give him a cigarette, and said 'these things will kill you.'

What do you do in this situation?

No chance. Even when I was a smoking teenager I wasn't bumming them from strangers. I was paying people to go in the shops for me like everyone else until I got a fake ID.

Smoking is very addicting. If I had a choice, I wouldn't have smoked at all. It's also a negative influence upon your circle of friends. I, myself, smoked my first one because I saw friends and family members do it.
