skit in kichijouji had a lot of larger sizes. but as for retail stores, yeah, its difficult to get larger sizes.

as for recommendations in japan, everyone should check skit. its a little out of the way but worth it. i found a pair of brand new 2003 AJ1 patent leather for ~100 dollars.

lots of good places in harajuku, shibuya, ueno.

If you do manage to find a big & tall store that will have size 12 US and up, prepare to be extremely disappointed. I forget if it was Shinjuku or Shibuya, but I remember passing 2 or 3 ABC Marts with all kinds of awesome stuff on the way to a big & tall store that had like exactly 2 Nikes in my size, and both looked more like something a 50 year old nurse would wear for a 12-hour shift.

Interesting, did you use their US site or the UK one?

I normally use their US site (so no need for conversions) and have found a few items there that are much cheaper than going to Nike but have found a few items that are more expensive.

No, I "aged" them with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser after a few months of owning (and wearing them), and still wear them regularly. Best shoes I own, and the quality is incredible.

There's probably hype for the Chicago's. It last retro'd in 2013 but the leather was terrible, didn't have NA and had Jumpman on the heel. This uses the remastered mold, has better letter and NA. The other issue is Nike usually produces less 1s compared to their other GRs.

Can't really comment on the Foams. Supremes, China Exclusive, Mirrors, Golds, Yeezy, Wheat and Black Out Suedes all did well.
