Yeah I won't let my feet touch those yeezy abomination.

Pretty sure if Kanye's name wasn't on those, they would sit on the shelves of outlet stores.

Footlocker came through and I have a pair of solar reds cageless ultra boost with my name on them

It was Kendal Jenner wasn't it

I know why I want yeezys...

wait tyga's wearing them too

i think i'm happy with my chucks

The 350s are nice but they're definitely hyped and fetch the $1,000 because of the West name (and constrained supply).

But I feel like they're all part of the Adidas aesthetic.

Only reason people wear adidas in general is because of the Yeezy effect imo. If I hear one more person talk up how comfortable the shoes are , as if that's why they bought them , I think I'm gonna puke .

sounds like adidas money was well spent tho. i'll never rock em. but ive noticed a sharp uptick in their buzz since they signed ye. granted that also coincides with them kind of getting their shit together across the board.

Nah man some of there newer releases have been fire. Really digging their NMDs, UBs, Tubulars and other lines lately.

Fun enough my alma mater had Adidas wear and everyone (including me) pretty much hated their designs and uniform designs. Now Adidas is catching fire and we dropped them this year lol. Oh well, first school to go all Jordan and will be the first school to rock Jordan football jerseys. My wallet is ready for some dope drops this fall.

I don't like him, and can't stand the amount of attention everyone gives him, but adidas's recent success is largely down to Kanye's cult, who will buy anything he is attached to or wears.

But I also look at adidas as the sneaker worlds Activision. They find something that is successful then just hammer it into the ground until all interest just disappears. Happened with the Tubulars, they released a billion different variations on them in such a short period of time that all the hype for them has just disappeared. I think it'll happen to the Ultra Boosts and NMDs eventually as well.

I don't know how it is in the US but in Europe Adidas has always been very successful, and you can see stan smiths everywhere since way before Kanye.

Just hit on the white Uncaged boost!

Probably will trade for a regular triple white boost with someone. I just like the rush of cooking I guess.

I have one pair of black UBs and thats all I need until it falls apart (which may be quicker than most shoes). I'm only buying for my best friend.

I have a EE widefoot but the cage doesn't bother me, i just leave mine loosely laced and put a cedar shoe tree in the first few days to loosen it up. Shoes with ankle collars just annoy me.

I am tempted by the pureboost raw and might try a women's size...

Bought the two gray variants at a local champs. I held the solar red but wasn't feeling the orangish hue. Can't believe these sold out online.

This group of Chinese folks was coping a full size run lol.

Adidas see that Ye has made them relevant again and they about to blow it out

Today, adidas announced the cementing of its long-term relationship with creative pioneer Kanye West in the launch of adidas + KANYE WEST, a YEEZY branded entity creating footwear, apparel and accessories for all genders across street and sport.
Recognizing the influence, success and global brand power that began almost two years ago with YEEZY for adidas Originals, the unprecedented new alliance makes history as the most significant partnership ever created between a non-athlete and an athletic brand. It will redefine the future, uniting adidas’ technical, innovative expertise and capabilities with the visionary imagination of West.

Together with Kanye West, a dedicated adidas team will lead the development and creation of all YEEZY products. Led from adidas’ Portland headquarters the team will manage and oversee the collaboration to ensure its continued success globally. The expansion plan includes retail stores that will serve as distinct hubs for adidas and West developed YEEZY product. Further, adidas + KANYE WEST will extend beyond its current lifestyle focus, with the introduction of performance-intended designs, consequently offering options for both sport and street.

These past two years, adidas and YEEZY have given a glimpse into our future. This partnership illustrates that anyone with a dream can dream without limitations.

Kanye West

“Kanye is a true creator who has the ability to see things others don't. We are excited and honored to build on this partnership, and eagerly look forward to defining the future together,” commented Eric Liedtke, adidas Group Executive Board Member, responsible for Global Brands.

With adidas + KANYE WEST we are exploring new territories by opening up the sports world to Kanye's creativity. This is what adidas has always been about, empowering creators to create the new.

Eric Liedtke, adidas Group Executive Board Member, responsible for Global Brands

Today’s announcement is the latest in a series of landmark achievements made by the German sports innovator and the globally influential artist. In February 2015, the presentation of YEEZY SEASON 1 rewrote the template of the modern fashion show, uniting style, music, celebrity, social media, and contemporary art to create a vibrant spectacle of creative expression. YEEZY SEASON 1 established West and adidas as powerful partners.

At the same time, the YEEZY BOOST 750 set off a global consumer sensation, serving as the first product drop born of the collaboration between adidas and West. Composed with adidas BOOST™ cushioning technology, the model combines the ultimate in comfort and performance with high-end style.

As a follow-up, West and adidas launched the YEEZY BOOST 350, which went on to become one of the most sought-after and fastest-selling footwear models in history. The low-top model unites a BOOST™ cushioning sole and adidas’ Primeknit material with West’s pioneering aesthetic. The resulting design led to a consumer frenzy, followed by unprecedented sales and, last December, a Footwear News award for 2015 Shoe of the Year.

Now, as long-term partners, West and adidas remain excited to reveal the next chapter of their collaboration.

just drove all around the GTA during my lunch looking for ultraboosts. no luck.

pretty sure, after gas money, I'd be better off just buying off a reseller. I just need to mentally convince myself that it's totally fine to drop $350 CAD on a sick pair of sneakers. and live a life without stress.

a life with a lighter wallet, but a life without stress nonetheless.

I personally think the Pure Boost Raw looks better than the new uncaged UBs.

I'll probably be buying these instead. Save $60.

What's a good price on the Nike Roshe One's?

I see them at Footlocker for $50, but a lot of the sizes are out of stock.

I just wish the continental soles were used across the board. They extend the life of the shoe, and also gives a much better grip.

I'm an 11, and they are terrible.

I just don't understand how everything is sold out everywhere on a WEDNESDAY at 1PM. Either the stores get barely any stock, or that's a SHITLOAD of people going to the store on a workday to pick up shoes. I mean, I would too but... I have to work.

Is Flightclub my best bet for resales? Not down to deal with ebayers that have 12 feedback lol

I was up at 4am PST to cop the white pair on SNS. Don't underestimate people's wants of sneakers lol.

But yeah, don't use Flight Club. They charge more on top of resale to cover their commission from the shoe. Definitely try eBay, even with your opinion of it you'll be surprised. The buyer protection is also amazing if you go through PayPal. I know because I've been fucked on eBay because buyers can say a lot of shit.

ill check stock locally for you too

?

Is it because they aren't stylish (I kinda like 'em). Or is it because they easily fall apart?

Build quality is that of a turd. I own multiple roshes as throwaway shoes, but I wouldn't recommend them if you're planning on owning some pairs that are long lasting.

Thanks :)

And I guess I can save a few bucks with eBay but it sounds like a hassle lol. I'll see what happens...

Darn. Thanks man.

I'd like these shoes to at least last a year of casual, daily use.

My black pair of Roshes have lasted me about 2 years and have only now started to look beat up. Got another black pair deadstocked that I picked up back when they were selling quickly

I oughta bust those out and donate my old ones.

Anyways, if you're gonna be wearing them on the daily they'll probably not last that long though

I've bought supermarket $20 shoes that lasted for a year or two. Surprised at how flimsy these shoes are which retail for $50 - 100.

Yep.

Honestly, if you don't run, the Pure Boost ZG or R are great. It's not a prime knit (which is what ultra boost uses), but it breathes fine with whatever material it is.

Or get any Nike metcons or some of the older fly knit lunar a which randomly go on sale for the price of the roshes.

if you're in the GTA check out Kijiji. Prices aren't too bad especially if you have to factor currency rate and shipping
