Welp almost a year later. These are amazing, my first pair of Balenciagas, loved the colors since I first laid eyes on them. Finally on my feet!
And here are the Desert Camo AM1 I picked up today.

Cool Grey 11s yesterday:
Was never a fan of the cool grey 11s for some reason. There was just something off about it to me lol. It's the only 11 that I don't own.

Not enough contrasting colors. To me the best are the Bred, Space Jams and Concords. Gammas were okay. Cool Grey is too much grey. I like the Cool Grey 9s though.

I got two questions:
1. How do you repaint midsoles? I have a pair of freshwater Griffey Max 1s that I would love to repaint...the white and black is cracked/beat up badly.
2. Is it possible to make clear/icy soles clear or icy again? I have some 3M 6 Rings, Zoom Revises and some Space Jams that are just yellow as hell, and it's killing me inside.

Repainting midsole is just a temporary fix as it'll crack again since the midsole stretches and stuff. Just wipe the cracked paint off completely with acetone and paint with some acrylic leather paint. Most people use Angelus paint. 3 to 4 coats of paint should be OK.
Restoring soles is a longer process. It requires time and retr0brite/seaglow. You can Google it, there's about really good guide on solecollector that I used. I can't link it now since I'm on mobile. There's plenty of other guides there too.
Got the Powder 10's and also picked up the KD 6 Home 2's. It's my first pair of KDs and I really like them a lot. Only problem is there doesn't seem to be a way to avoid potential creasing because the way the toe box bends when you take a step. Maybe creasing isn't even the right term for this material. Maybe denting?

Another great delivery from the mail man. Oh man, these Atmos Air Max 1 are AMAZING. I actually only got interested in them when ryuen posted them last year. Great taste man . Sans the Balenciaga it's the most expensive purchase I've made on a single pair of shoes, and I would do it again.
Sisters AM1 YOTH also came in, the quality on these is amazing, combination of the different textures and the bright sole make it look really nice.
BTW ryuen, I have an extra 9.5 of the AM1 Desert Camo, if you're interested in them let me know.

AWESOME pickups Yoshi and another great page from everyone! I need a pair of Atmos x Nikes in my life!
I've been chasing this shoe for almost a decade now, and once Wormtokyo posted this on his Insta in a 9.5, I jumped at the chance. This reminds me of when LRG and Triple 5 Soul was huge, when Kanye was awesome, and it's really the last series of the SB line that I care about (the Pink box era).
I also went through with trading my spare pair of Tiffs for these (+ $100). I was ecstatic to find out that these were the 07 Royal Foams (as opposed to the 2011), because the shape is WAY better, but the crown jewel in this trade is these borderline beater Hazes that I got. There are definite nicks and imperfections on these, but for an 11 year old shoe, I'm really, really happy with the condition.
Oyo: You're making me salty with that AM1 YOTH post! Welcome to the Atmos club, fellow 9.5'er.
Haha yeah. I like grey in certain shoes but it just doesn't work with the 11.
Jams/Concords then Breds. Hard to chose between Jams and the Concords, they both look too good.
Not a fan of the normal HyperRev CWs but these are fire. Wish they released this one.

My wallet is not getting any kind of break. Kobe 9s (finally some GRs), KD 6s, Lebrons and Jordans. Kind of been a bit off the New Balance game. The last pair I picked up were those buttery botter scotch Barbershop QS.

Yeah, I bought a pair of Bruins from them like maybe 2 years ago? It's just a nondescript grey pair with a black swoosh, very basic but I like that.
That said, I have a love-hate relationship with camo in that I love camo but me wearing it another matter altogether. Still, I might try to get them (will probably set my alarm for like 3:45am).
I'm a size 9 so we'll see how it goes lol.

They drop tomorrow at 6pm EST though, right? I'll be in the middle of coaching my kid's tball game, so I'll have to try and get a friend try for me. Kind of sucks because I'm getting them for my wife and it's the only sneaker she's actually wanted. Meanwhile probably 90% of the pairs that get sold are going to get resold.

Im not the biggest fan of foams but can definitely tell that the ones you have look much better than any recent release, seems like you got a great deal.
Two more deliveries this week for me. New Balance 998BR and Onitsuke Tiger x Bait Colorado Eighty-Five. The 998 is probably the most comfortable shoe I own, will definitely be picking up some more New Balances. Hopefully the Navy 997s this spring.
March is coming, need to find a way to get the Tiffany High from the EU release, theres no way Ill pay over 200 for those, but Id stil like a pair to wear.

I figured I'd bring this question to Sneaker-GAF as y'all seem to be the experts.
I'm in the market for some new sneakers and have been scouring my local stores and the internet and the links provided in the OP in particular. I really wanted some black and orange sneakers to match the stuff I currently wear (Orioles fan, so I tend to have a good bit of black and orange in my wardrobe, especially this time of year). I found some ones I rather like online, but unfortunately they were a run from 2008, so finding them much less in my size seems to be an issue. Is there a preferred place that I'm not finding where you can potentially find older sneaks?
These are the ones in question.

Those don't have to be the be all and end all I'm looking for, but they were ones I liked.
Also, I see throughout the pages that many people order their shoes online. I have always been wary of that because in the last few years I've worn anything from a 10.5 to 11.5 currently. It really depends on the shoe. Do you suggest I go into like a footlocker and get myself sized to potentially similarly designed nike's or something?

Currently on my phone, but here's a link to the Nike SB Gato "Holland" on their store. It's from their World Cup pack and does have that black/orange colorway you might like.
Was thinking of getting them as well, since I'm a SF Giants fan.

I wonder if they have any at a nearby store that I can try on and buy or atleast see what size I need so I can order online. I saw some really nice orange and black New Balance classics over at Champs sports yesterday too, unfortunately they didn't have my size.
They were on sale for 40 dollars, so I may go back for those too, but I really need to again, size my foot (the highest they had was 9.5. I know for damn sure my feet won't fit into that)

I'm currently wearing the non-WC pack version in black & gum, but they run true. If you have a nearby skate shop, they might have them (either the WC pack or regular) so you could try them on there. Since it's based off an indoor football/soccer shoe, it runs somewhat narrow in the arch & toebox area but not horrible.

Thanks again, it absolutely does. I'm heading over to a handful of stores later today that should hopefully have one to try on, which in this case will help immensely I think. I'm already wearing some somewhat narrow running shoes as my daily drivers, so I don't think it will be a problem, but I do see some people on google/amazon having complaints about the fit.
I hope they are comfortable on me because I would definitely drop the money on a pair.
Think i'm gonna pass on the retro 3's.. Haven't got called back for aunt pearls either.. I'll just go for those 510 sb's.
That rumored Jordan x Nike SB collab is suppose to be dropping on the 15th of march too.

Cool and even if you find it a bit too narrow or snug, at least they do run up to size 14 on the Nike site, so ordering shouldn't be too bad if you have to size up.
Oh and here's another pair as well, Nike Project BA so good luck!

Except for the stupid writing on the heel, it's not a horrible shoe. I love the Nike Air on the tongue of all 1s, and the Nike SB on the tongue of all SBs!
