I wanted to thank Sneakers-GAF and Auron_Kale in particular for the assistance yesterday with trying to find some new sneaks. I ended up with these from the Adidas store:

Lucky. Spent 20 minutes and then all hope evaporated. I have a size that seems to sell out quick.

On to the next release. Debating on the Ligers. I'm not a fan of the colors but maybe I'll change my mind if I see them in person. Same with the Kobe's. I definitely want to try them on. I was a huge fan of the 8s.

Going through the NT thread, it looks like I cartjacked someone for their 10 on Foot Locker. Spamming the add to cart button on Chrome I think gives you a much better chance than NDC these days, with their arbitrary line system and all.

On NDC or FTL? Because once you hit add to cart, that spontaneously starts the wait process on Nike Store.

It really is such a crap shoot. Unless you have FIOS, Google Fiber and a ATC bot, it's definitely difficult to buy these sought after releases.

I'm not upset that I didn't get the Aunt Pearl's. I'm not a huge fan of pink shoes but the sentimental value is what drew me (mom, aunt and uncle passed away from cancer).

I copped the AP's on FTL by spamming the add to cart button with my work computer (which has pretty solid internet), but I've generally had good luck on my home computer, which is a piece of shit 2005 Dell with plain jane Comcast internet. No bots here either.

I picked both based on performance and they are good for my wide feet. One is for indoors and one for outdoors

But all this research has me wanting to buy a dozen other pairs lol

I agree with the YOTH statement, top 5 for sure. I personally prefer them with the rope laces. This was actually my first pair of high top SB dunks. I used to own a lot of lows and mids back in 06-08, unfortunately thats when my foot decided to grow from a size 8 to 9.5, so most were left hardly used and sold/given away. Some of my favorite pairs were the C&K lows, Day of the Dead lows, and Hawaii lows.

Glad to see SB coming back strong this year, the only thing I feel that I missed out on as far as SB goes in the last 6 years are the Skunk highs and Red Supreme lows.

Thanks & funny enough, one of the staffers at Niketown SF who works the SB area said something along those lines too.

Anyways, got my 510s off Nike this morning and went back to sleep once I got the confirmation email. Used my iPhone too to order lol.

I like those. I was able to get the first EXT but I fear Aunt Pearl might have made it more difficult to buy them. I was able to buy the gums in store and online lol.

Not surprising they look crazy (in a good way)! Didn't go for em as they just wouldn't look right on me :| but so glad the Air Trainer 1s are getting more love these days, still burned on missing out on the chlorophylls

These came in yesterday (well 3 of them did, the white/blue ones came in a few days ago). I'm really happy with this pickup especially at 50 a piece. If anyone is interested in picking any of these colors up, I believe they are still around 55-60 at jimmyjazz.

Sorry to invade the thread, but I'm trying to sell my Adidas Originals Star Wars shoes and wanted to know the best way to go about it. I put them up on ebay but I only have a few watchers on the auctions, even though New sets of these shoes go for a lot. Probably going to relist these tomorrow if I don't get any bids. Any advice?

Bumped my last pair of Diamonds & 88's for these at the consignment shop. The quality on the Tiffs were trash. Trading change for dollar bills this weekend.

I've never used one mainly because there really aren't any good ones near me. Ebay seems like a good route. A buddy of mine sells quite a bit on ebay and does pretty good.

What kind of shoes are you selling and what size?

I goto Sole Supremacy in Newark, but there's a bunch around my area that are open to trades. I tried to get them to bite on taking the 88's and Diamonds straight up, but since the Heinys were a consignment pair, they wanted $60 on top. $370-$380 out of pocket for an 11 year old shoe that's never going to re-release due to possible trademark infringements (and is currently going for $750-$850 on eBay) was worth it to me.

If your shoes are DS, I'd definitely hit them up and get a quote (they get back to you reasonably fast), but if they're used I'd probably go the route of eBay. They do take used shoes, but I can imagine this being a hassle if they don't give you the amount that you'd want.

510's came in today. It's pretty funny that I had to order from a Rhode Island skateshop to represent my hood, but I'm just glad to have these in hand.

edit: i also miss my brown golfs

If anyone is looking for a shoe rack to store their sneakers, I picked a few of these up from amazon. I'm still setting everything up but I like them so far, they can stack and connect to each other using the shelves that come with it.
