Haven't seen everyones pickups but the ones that stood the most for me were the Supreme SBs and Heineken SBs. Probably since I've wanted each one since way back when.
The best thing I've picked up were definitely the Balenciaga High Tops, but the Atmos AM1 are not far behind.
Whatever the case, I'm glad we have this small group here on gaf, you guys all have had great pickups. Definitely see that we've all had better luck than last year. /still salty about missing the royals.

Philippines only release, they bring all the girls to the bahay and they're all like hoy pogi, ang ganda naman! mas-maganda sa tsinelas ko! Lol my Filipino is horrible.

I can't personally vouch for them since I've never purchased a thing from them. I know they're on Niketalk's trusted list, and users say they're legit, but I have no experience with the site myself.
mr.rager is a fellow Canadian, maybe he has some experience with them.

I get lucky while browsing during my travels. When I'm traveling/waiting for the next flight/on the plane I usually browse facebook sneaker groups. That's where I came across this latest deal.

Can't really say it any better. It's always about the shoes, hype or no hype.
Here's my favorite 5 pairs [overall, in order]. Air Jordan IX is still my favorite, of all time. Me and this one go way back so I had to get an OG kids pair from gusto.
Air Jordan IX Black/White/True Red - The origin of my sneaker love. It's a shame that jb has ruined the ix's shape in the latest retros so I had to pick up a 2002 retro.
Balenciaga High Top Trainer Multicolor - Combination of colors, from the gum sole to the purple suede and green canvas. Quality is exceptional even if not at all comfortable.
Air Jordan I Black/Varsity Red 2013 - Classic black and red silhouette.
Nike Janoski Digi Floral - Proof that when nike wants to, they can still make amazing designs. The contrast between the green, pink and white midsole really make this one pop.
Nike Air Max 1 PRM Tiger Camo - The orange tones really make this shoe for me, but also love the textures all around. Quality is also great, even if I had to reshape the toebox.

I really want the Concords. I know my chances are slim but are there any good tips on getting a pair when they release?

It's a general release so your chances should be decent.
Check out the Foot Locker launch locator, Foot Action Release Locator, etc (or call up the close shops to see what the store's release strategy).
If you decide to try in store tickets are usually given out around 6-8 a.m. Champs, Foot Action, Nike Town and Foot Locker are all carrying this shoe.
Online, Foot Locker/Champs/Foot Action/Eastbay and Finishline are releasing the Concords at 8 EST. Nike is releasing the shoe at 10 a.m. EST.

I'm not going to lie to you. They produced a lot of pairs but by the same token these shoes are called Concord lows, which is one of the key shoes that started the current mainstream sneaker fervor.
But if you do your research, get up early or have multiple windows open, you should be able to get a pair.

I wasn't able to get the Air Jordan XI Turbo Green lows for my wife last weekend at Nike.com cuz of their mess (I had a pair in my cart but couldn't check out dammit!!!). I've been searching eBay for any decent deals on them but prices are pretty outrageous.
What I did find, though, is that the Gamma Blue XI from last Christmas in my wife's size (6y) are actually going for less than the Turbo Greens on eBay. I guess the hype on the new XI lows are 'what's hot' right now, especially with the upcoming Concords.
Considering that the Gammas are mids, Turbo Greens are too much, and I doubt I'll have any luck on the Concords for her next weekend (lol) I settled on the Gammas.
She absolutely loves 'em.

On the website, they have a counter up top so just keep an eye on it. When the AM1 Mercurials dropped, I pretty much had a tab open on the site and just let it run - it auto-refreshes once the shoes are up. Was already logged in at the time.
Just pick your corresponding US -> UK size and add to cart. Simple.
...And I think I'm gonna get these. They're a great looking summer shoe.

Gotcha and I think the site can handle the load. I've never seen the site crash before but you never know...
Also, I don't believe the site will let you cartjack so there's that.

So, I got a DS pair of the Jordan 12 Playoffs that released in 2012 but they're a half size too big for me (they're a 9 but fit like a 9.5). If anyone wants to buy, let me know and we can work something out. I'm in the US. Also selling a DS pair of the Jordan 5 Black/Metallic (2006 release with the 3M tongues) in a size 9.5.

If you're visiting anywhere near Shibuya, do yourself a big favour and save up. There're a handful of devastating sneaker spots in the area and you'll definitely want some cash on hand.

No doubt, I'll be staying in Mishima, within distance to go shopping in Tokyo. I know I'll be tempted a lot and not just on shoes so, I want to have as much money as possible. If you could recommend any places worth visiting, I'll try to check them out.

if i get lucky this weekend (lol), how do XI's fit? in terms of other retros, i usually wear a 10.5 in the III/VI/VIII, and i was just wondering if they fit tighter/smaller. for recent releases, i had to .5 size up for the lebrons while the KDs were true to size for me if that helps any.
I'd check out K-Skit, or the # of secondhand/used shops that litter Harajuku (there's one that's right by Undefeated that has the craziest collection of Supreme goods...I'm talking like Dipset tee era gems). Japanese dudes generally take immaculate care of their shit, and you can find some good stuff on the cheap.
I've never tried on a pair of lows, but the hitop XI's for me run pretty big.

Like ryuen mentioned, top of your list should be K-Skit. This shop's a little out of the way at Kichijoji but well worth the effort, there're rows upon rows of heat at pretty affordable prices, and a whole wall of Jordans too. At the Harajuku area check out Kicks Lab, Chapter and the Undefeated and Nike stores...if you're really pressed for time, just check out Kicks Lab.
Just came back from a short trip to Shibuya about two weeks back myself, the shopping was awesome

I'll definitely be taking a look at the secondhand shops. Seems to me like japan generally has good prices on older items, not so much on more recent releases. I'll take that as a good thing.
