Need to get the Huaraches but holy shit am I hung over
This weekend. Can't wait...
Some of the color ways would have benefited from including alternate laces...especially the threes.Edit: ^^ agreed on your opinion of the recent cw's of 3s. I wear my infrareds a lot and did the black lace swap before I even put them on my feet.
I can't wait to see blue laces on the new sport blue 3s.
So this would be really stupid if true, but it kinda seemed like this new countdown on NDC is based on what time you have your computer set to. I was trying on both my phone and computer, and the timer on my computer was 45 seconds ahead. The clock on my computer is also about a minute ahead. I even refreshed both a few times while waiting and the computer always stayed ahead. Both devices let me add to cart as soon as timer was over (so I got to add to cart sooner on computer) but both went directly to the line with no captcha. I'm still in line on both now haha. I think next release with a timer I'm gonna do a test and set my computers time ahead a few minutes and see what happens. Again it would be really dumb if that was the case, but it really did seem that way.
Anyways, somehow managed to get a pair on FNL. I think it's the first time I've ordered there since the 6 Infrared pack.
I know these aren't for everybody, but I am really digging them.
Ha! I read that same thing. I remember reading an article a while ago about Jordan history and knew that the original designer was a guy named Peter Moore but I had no idea it was that Peter Moore til the other day.
Slam Kicks said:it was designer Peter Moore who was in charge of pitching the look of his signature sleds-to-be. He presented a sneaker covered in black and red--a colorway Jordan initially hated, referring to it as "the devil's colors" according to Jack McCallim's book, Dream Team--with a silhouette that was not too different from the Nike Dunk, with a Swoosh on the shoe's mid panel, padded foam ankle collars and a Nike Air unit on the heel. Moore also sketched out the original ball-and-wings logo featured on the upper ankle of the sneaker. The Nike Air Jordan I sneaker was far from advanced, technologically speaking, but it sure was bold
Gaf what are these?
Love the joystick with the 3s Markman.
I bought the 3s, Kobe's and some how came home with a pair of the Spizikes (not sure if I'm going to keep them) and the military Camo ZX Fluxs.
Also Sneaker trivia I discovered yesterday since this is Neogaf...was that Peter Moore was the designer of the AJ 1. I knew the story of the AJ 1, mainly how Mike wanted to go with Addidas or Converse. But I guess the Moore part never resonated. Dude went from Nike to Reebok to the game industry.
Yeah! I was so stoked when I first found that out. I don't think a lot of people knew that.
EDIT: I just looked into it more, it is not the same Peter Moore actually LOL.
Lol. I just went back to that kicksdeals article and they changed the picture. Did they change some of the text too?
I'm looking for something like what he's wearing in this picture. Any ideas? I know I see them around but I can't find them in stores or online.

Pretty sure those are just some Air Force 1's. Might have an issue finding that exact color in your size, though.
They definitely look like regular AF1s, I remember my high school/early university days. I had so many pairs of different colors loool. Surprised you can't find them in-stores or online, they're like everywhere where I live.
Awesome, thanks guys.
Also, Go Blue Jays
I'm going all in with shoes and sneakers recently and I'm looking for something like these as well. I love boots like that and I want to get a pair similar.

But if I can find those boots I quoted above, may be I might have to switch my mind. Any suggestions?
Some pickups from this month and the last. Have started to move away from Jordan's and basketball shoes, though I really did want the Kobe Beethoven's.
SNKRFRKR x Asics Gel Lyte III "Alvin Purple"
Nike Huarache Light Ultramarine
Ubiq x New Balance 1600 "Benjamin's"
BWGH x Puma R698
my pickups in last month above.
Cheers fellas! Was close to pulling the trigger on an '04 release ultramarine a few months ago on eBay, thankfully Nike announced the retro days later because I would have been afraid to wear the '04's.
Those NB's are dope Yoshi!
