Tried for the SB and Spizikes. Lol ensued as I kept having to re enter the Captcha images. I had to do I twice for the SBs and 6 for the 6s. I struck out on the 6 (not heart broken).

I'm more interested in next week's fares (3s, 14s and Kobe 9s).

I didn't realize those 14s were next week too. Im going to bail on those I guess. Hopefully my connect can get me the 3, then I'll just have to try for the Kobe's on my own.

Nike brought back the Multi-color Kobe 9 option. Sold out in 2 hours. Managed to get two pairs but I wanted time to design a few more.

Definitely going to cop the Jordan 3s. They remind me of BC3s. They're definitely hotter than the Wolf Grey, Crimson, Joker and probably Powder Blues. I like the infrareds more especially with black laces.

I'm probably going to skip the Lebron 12s. I'm not a fan of the styling. But a hot color way/design could change that opinion.

I've got the 3s secured. Now just need to work on the Kobe's. If I can get them it'll be the first and only 9 I'll own.


Edit: ^^ agreed on your opinion of the recent cw's of 3s. I wear my infrareds a lot and did the black lace swap before I even put them on my feet.

Some of the color ways would have benefited from including alternate laces...especially the threes.

And not sure what Nike was thinking. The MC color way along with the new options were more interesting than the Beethoven but I'll definitely cop them since I'm a sucker for Flyknit.

I don't think they'll be hard to get locally or online.

But it seems like FTL/HoHhave been doing it for a few weeks possibly? I know for sure they did it with the Spizikes, Lebron SEs, etc.

So this would be really stupid if true, but it kinda seemed like this new countdown on NDC is based on what time you have your computer set to. I was trying on both my phone and computer, and the timer on my computer was 45 seconds ahead. The clock on my computer is also about a minute ahead. I even refreshed both a few times while waiting and the computer always stayed ahead. Both devices let me add to cart as soon as timer was over (so I got to add to cart sooner on computer) but both went directly to the line with no captcha. I'm still in line on both now haha. I think next release with a timer I'm gonna do a test and set my computers time ahead a few minutes and see what happens. Again it would be really dumb if that was the case, but it really did seem that way.

Anyways, somehow managed to get a pair on FNL. I think it's the first time I've ordered there since the 6 Infrared pack.

yeah, i was having trouble with nike too, still waiting for my turn but i managed to get a pair on footlocker. next month ill be making my nikeid lunar flyknit 2s.

Got the 3s. Didn't try for anything online. I wanted the Kobe's but whatever. Also I was at the mall around 1130 and all the stores still had the 3s on shelves.

I bought the 3s, Kobe's and some how came home with a pair of the Spizikes (not sure if I'm going to keep them) and the military Camo ZX Fluxs.

Also Sneaker trivia I discovered yesterday since this is Neogaf...was that Peter Moore was the designer of the AJ 1. I knew the story of the AJ 1, mainly how Mike wanted to go with Addidas or Converse. But I guess the Moore part never resonated. Dude went from Nike to Reebok to the game industry.

Ha! I read that same thing. I remember reading an article a while ago about Jordan history and knew that the original designer was a guy named Peter Moore but I had no idea it was that Peter Moore til the other day.

Yeah, I have a copy of the Kicks Jordans 1-6 special. It's crazy to know that MJ wanted to sign with Adidas and Converse prior to Nike. It was his mom and a few others that convinced him to take a chance with Nike.

According to the foreword:

Moore had a hand with the 2s then obviously things changed when Tinker Hatfield jumped on to design the legendary 3s.

My cousin picked up the Sport blue 3s, they look a lot better in person than I thought. Still not a fan of the cw though. Kinda wish I picked up the Beethovens but no extra money this month :(

Yeah! I was so stoked when I first found that out. I don't think a lot of people knew that.

EDIT: I just looked into it more, it is not the same Peter Moore actually LOL.

They definitely look like regular AF1s, I remember my high school/early university days. I had so many pairs of different colors loool. Surprised you can't find them in-stores or online, they're like everywhere where I live.

Thanks! and actually while I was out in Japan in june I was close to buying the 04 pair as well. Was delighted to see they were released in Europe so I imported a pair. Those NBs were definitely a good pickup. Stopped by Kith saturday morning before lining up at Supreme and noticed that no one was on line so I got a pair easily.

Welp, just struck out on the KO's at NDC. I was at HoH yesterday and they had a few sizes but nothing I could pull off. Maybe I'll try a few more retail places. Had no interest until I saw them yesterday and they're pretty dope.
