I love mine. I got the Team Orange. While I know that 225 was too much, I love them. All of the hype about them being light and almost pre-broken in is real.
I ordered the Random knit Roshe FlyKnit over the weekend. Should get here Wednesday. Hope they are actually different shoes and not the same as advertised.

Were any GAFfers able to pick up the 6s over the weekend?
Tried online at store.nike.com early Saturday morning and knew my chances were slim...and, as expected, got nothing. If anything I just wanted the Shohoku shirt. But I missed out when Nike Santa Monica opened Saturday morning, where a lot of Slam Dunk fans grabbed whatever shirts they could get a hold of since they couldn't get the shoes. Luckily later in the day I was able to find the shirt at Sheikh in Culver City (they even had the Slam Dunk Superfly 3s available as well, but I didn't want them).
I have a pair of Black/Red 6s I got back in 2010 that goes with the shirt well
(and some Tech Fleece coming in...yes I jumped on the hype train lol)
, so it's not that big of a deal if I didn't get the Slam Dunk 6s. =)
these are dope. i strictly do air max 1's and 90's. maybe i'll take a pic of my collection at some point. had stopped by new kicks for a while, but started up again recently.

Man oh man I am so lucky. My best man reminded me out of nowhere nearly a week too late that these released. When I saw in the niketalk thread that DTLR stores also carried them I knew the nearest DTLR would have zero Asians like me living nearby that would even think about buying this shoe so I called them up and lo and behold they only got ONE pair in (but both shirts and the cap) and its in MY SIZE.
I'm Filipino and grew up watching Slam Dunk so this is an amazing find for me. I still remember reading the last volume with my brothers and trying to hold back tears reading the story wrap up and knowing we'd never know more about Sakuragi.
These shoes though... wow they look so good in person. The Icy blue rubber sole, tongue, and ankle loop are the perfect contrast to the red and 3m print. I know it sounds crazy but these shoes make me want to buy a glass case from ikea just to display them in. That's how much I love them. I haven't worn them yet, for fear of wanting to wear them around.

Thanks! The super fly 3's are getting some bad reviews because apparently the graphics on them are blurry unlike the press photos.
DTLR is a very urban clothing/shoe store that apparently gets all new releases. I think i'm the only asian to ever walk in the one in mine regularly. My Filipino friends said they would never even think about browsing inside those stores.

Sup guys. Pretty close to pulling the trigger on the Nike Tennis Fragment SP's. They're 80 dollars, but I'm afraid they might be a bit long and clownshoe like with my large feet (I'm a size 12). I love the look, but my feet may be my downfall. They're available in 11.5, which would probably do okay for me.
Uhh $80 is cheap for what these are. Are they at an outlet, used, or craigslist? If you can actually get to try them on, why not?
As for the clownshoes... well I'm barely 5'6" and I wear 8.5 to 9.5 and I already get the clownshoes comment from my coworkers. Depends on your height and what pants/jeans you wear regularly i guess.

Haven't posted here in a while since I haven't had any extra spending money until now! To celebrate I picked up a pair of Supreme foams. Also gonna pick up the 6s on BF. Glad to be back in the shoe game after a short leave of absence.
^^^If you want them that bad, you could sell/trade shoes you don't wear or just pay the resell.
Third option is to use your connections in Nike. It sucks that these shoe manufacturers have kept abusing this lightning in a bottle/tactic but if it ain't broke, why fix it. Same reason why Apple still releases an annual iPhone to major fanfare or EA drops another Madden.
Anyways, I've slowed down my shoe buying. The only thing I've gotten recently were the NBxConcept Rose 997, Lebron 12 Heart of Lion, Air Jordan 1 Black and White, KD7 Bad Apples and N7.

Hard to tell from the pics. From what I can see, they're real or really good fakes. Stitching seems straight, midsole lines up right, label looks good. I don't know, man. The receipt thing seems kind of shady.

Stay right away from eBay that's for sure! I see some pop up on a few local Facebook sneaker groups I'm in but the going price is around AU$350-500 (250-350) depending on the condition. That's the Yeezy effect for you!
Copped the Adidas Tubular aka The Poor Man Qasa's last week. I already own a pair of Qasa Hi's, but I'll definitely be wearing these a fair bit. Got the burgundy colour on the way also. Really keen to see what Adidas has in store for this model in the future, especially if rumours of a Yeezy and/or Pharrell collabs are true.
