I live in San Diego and store them in normal room temp. I have some stuff from as far back as 1995 that doesn't have cracks/crumbling issues. At most glue/sole separation but nothing completely falling off.

Just have to let the shoes breathe. Take em out, wear em. Make sure they aren't locked up their whole life.

RIP Kobe 9 (after Monday). The elite lows and highs were beautiful. The EMs were hit or miss from a look perspective. I liked the 8s more but with the Masterpiece, Inspiration, Details, Maestro, Influence, WTK, Super Heros, Showtimes, Beethovens, Moonwalkers, HTM collection, MC iDs, MM iDs, etc the 9s earn a place in the shoe hall of fame.

Man, those BHM AJ 1s, lol. Those went faster than the Fragments (obviously Frags were more limited).

The BHM Jordans that dropped today were pretty limited. I never thought I'd see the day Jordan XX9s sold out online.

I fear for future AJ 1 releases thanks to the Fragment release. These came and went in literally minutes. The Lasers and Chicago's will be the true gauge.

I'm new to this really, started really looking into sneakers maybe a year ago. Most shoes I find ugly, but every once in a while a really nice pair like the above shows up. I just follow Sneaker Politics and Sneaker Head on Facebook.

But they've definitely dropped some interesting color ways in the mids.

This year is going to be a big year for the 1s. They're getting the remastered treatment, bringing back the Chicagos and Metals highs and some lows.

My only advice before you go down the rabbit hole and hurting wallet. Go slow and try to buy shoes you know you'll absolutely want and wear.

I really like the AJ1 mid, I got the teal Pegasus that I now wear at the gym (really comfortable), and I got this pair of Nike Blazer Mid that I really like. I rarely wear any of them really, except the Pegasus, it's winter half the year here so it's boots and a pair of shoes I leave at work. I don't see myself buying too many.

And I finally took the dive into ordering a pair of weightlifting shoes this weekend, the Nike Romaleos 2...got the 'Iron Man' red/gold version since the 'Volt' color was sold out in my size at Eastbay. 20% sale going on right now, I'm down for any cool color at this point, lol. I've been lifting in the Adidas Powerlift 2s for the past year, which are really really really good, but once you try out the 'pro' lifting shoes like the Adipower and the Romaleos...dude you gotta have them, yo.
