My interpretation of the rule in the OP you quoted is that it's not disallowing reselling itself, but rather the discussing of its ethics/morals, which is what you and others are doing in reaction to my one post replying to someone who was looking to buy a European model for a marked up price from Play Asia anyway.

In fact the one you quoted is not rule #1 as you show. It's #2. And Rule #1 in the OP is against "scalper whining", because it clogs up the thread, which is precisely what you and others are doing by calling me out repeatedly.

I think that's a good idea. If it's not OK for me to let someone know about my B/S/T post when they come here and post that they're looking for exactly what I'm offering, then I won't do it. But I need to hear it from a mod, not just from posters who have strong emotions against "scalpers".

I;m doing the OT, for games OT they usually do it before the day of release or launch day....is this the same for consoles? Or a week before?

We still don't know what's going to happen to pre orders on Amazon so yes, there is need for this thread.

Target charged my card a 5th time for my SNES.

I know some of you have a target pre order and are getting the same BS. All of these 'extras' never actuallly go through. I am really perplexed at why they need to keep checking the card so many times to see if the amount is there.

My guess is they are trying to do some pseudo elimination for people who don't actually have money in the account. I wonder if they also over pre ordered? Maybe they have a waiting list?

Sounds stupid but so is them putting so many temp charges on me.

My 3 Target preorders still showing on my account but sister told me she doesn't want one, so now that's one less that I need to keep.

Contemplating what to do with it.



I really want to see an email from Game for my EU version. The longer that goes by the more I like that version over the US one.

FF6 Advance has a ground up redone translation, some combat/systems bugfixes, plus an extra dungeon and a kind of grindathon area. Downsides are that the color and aspect ratio are kinda funky and the midi samples for the music are 100% objectively worse than the SNES version (though there is a ROM patch that addresses this.) I'd say the SNES original still holds up fine, and none of the extra content in the advance port stands out enough to warrant hunting down a copy.

People still having preorders cancelled makes me not so convinced that stock is going to be as high as Nintendo claims.

If it was then why would we still have cancellations?

I cancelled my own preorder. To be fair. Maybe I wasn't clear.

My country marked up the price insanely. Right when it was announced it was listed at more than twice the price of a nes mini. I was hoping the prices would settle but nope. So I cancelled because I couldn't justify it being almost the price of a ps4. Especially when it launches everywhere else for a ok price And the nes mini cost less than half when that launched.


Worst part is i had a shot at getting it from Amazon.co.UK right when it was announced but I figured I'd wait for local listings. Regrettable.

Still feels bad to cancel.

For the 1000th time. Stop worrying about this!

I buy from all Amazon sites all the time and never once did my orders not get delivered even when the product page said it doesn't ship to my country. As long as it let's you checkout and place the order, you're good. If they were going to cancel they would have done it shortly after you placed it, not weeks/months later.
