Snoop Dogg's message to Xbox One

The amount of times Xbox live and PSN goes down will vary from person to person. So technically a fact for you won't be a fact for some one else.

Very true most times people are saying psn is down I'm online playing. I'm guessing it where you live and what servers you ping.

Just telling it like it is.

I loved how he spearheaded a campaign to make the latest NCAA game become backwards compatible on XB1. Too bad it didn't succeed, but maybe in the future it will.

Damn just to imagine that Snopp Dogg is sitting in front of his 60" OLED and waiting hours till Halo 5 is installed on his Xbone is just pure gold. I think many people were pretty dissapointed with the new Xbox this gen. Writing was on the wall and it's his own fault if he still goes with Xbox.

People are really serious about this topic aren't they.

This is really bad from Ms. Is this a week after Sony's issues. They need to sort this is out. Both consoles suck for their core online service connection issues. Glad I missed this one

Snoop's always been an Xbox dude, I remember so many interviews and pictures where he says he games mostly there.

Also PSN for me this gen has been a vast improvement over PS3 days.
Barely any downtime overall, seems like Xbox Live is the service that is now experiencing similar issues?

Anyways get on it Larry/Greenberg, the man has NBA 2K and Madden to play.

Xbox didn't go down today...once in awhile for some reason the system has issues with party chat and invites. You can actually check by going to Network settings and then looking at nat type, right under it you will find the info.

This is what it looks like when everything is working.

When it's having issue it will say something else.

What happened today didn't stop online you can still play online it's just that certain games had a tough time inviting/looking for people. So people saying xbl was down today are incorrect. Live rarely goes down where no one can play online.

lol

So the people complaining on /r/xboxone and Twitter that they are unable to play online are deluding themselves. I see.

No there was issues, I even stated that. But it really depended on the game. For example today I was playing cod no problem, played madden quick game no problem. But when I wanted to invite my friend to play some draft champions I couldn't send him an invite or get anyone on my list to join. However I could still play ultimate team mode with my friends and could still play cod as well.

Now that is a problem for sure but it is a little disingenuous to say xbl was down when it wasn't.

That's my impression as well. Sony has upped their game. Also, it's could be my rose-tinted glasses, but it does seem like Microsoft have been suffering from more outages in the last few years than they used to do.

On the 25 Dec, 2014 I was connected to PSN the entire day, but it would be disingenuous to pretend my experience was indicative of what other people were experiencing that same day. In this circumstance too, there is a large volume of people who have been kicked from their games and are unable to play online. The truth of this statement is easy enough to verify.

Yup, it was rare I'd see any downtime on X360 definitely.

With PSN this gen, I can only really remember the infamous Lizard Squad takedown in Xmas 2014 and the 6 hour drop last week, otherwise very solid.

But both services will get hit at times, it's just inevitable.
I'm just glad it's not at all frequent.

Lol that was hilarious. Servers will always be faulty, and for some worse. Me personally have experienced very little hick ups the last years, maybe just lucky

That's not true I've been having party issues all week and my network is always open nat with zero issues, it was driving me mad at the start of the week I went through my network and replaced almost every bit of hardware in it and was sill getting random party and game drops.

Just imagine him waiting Halo 5 to install on PS4.

Heh... Yeah ok

No, plenty of people were disappointed with Xbox One at first, with their initial message and when Don Mattrick was still around and made that very very weird comment about 360 and Xbox One. Nowadays plenty of people own a Xbox One as well and are happy with it. There are actually plenty of reasons to get one, one being great games. The XBL issues which to be honest haven't been happening a lot lately are unfortunate but again it's been a while since it was truly bad. Ever since Christmas last year things seem to have improved. It's not like PS4 doesn't have any of these issues.

MS has been doing a good job correcting their mistakes and the Xbox One has turned into a very nice system. So please don't talk nonsense.

That is not true, maybe for you if is but not everyone. My stuff says open, all services available, no multiplayer issues yet I run into all kinds of issues. It's really mind boggling and it has made me less interested in console gaming. I can't believe that we're this far into the lifespan of the consoles and they can't even get online services to work correctly on a regular basis.
