And fuuuck, that Jiyeon is so hot with that One-Eyed-Jack look. Holds it much better then Nicole in my opinion. Hyomin seems to have leveled quite a bit too from IY days. I can't really comment on the song though, I hate it when it cuts in and out like that. The video is cool and all but I'll wait till just the 3 minute song is released to pass judgement.

I take it they didn't do very well here in the States or at least, not as well as projected. That must have been pretty rough only debuting for a year in Korea then heading over to America. Surprised they maintained popularity over in Korea seeing as how fickle the fans seem to be. If you are out of the spotlight/don't do many variety shoes, it seems like you are forgotten pretty quickly. Well forgotten in general. I'm not including the zealous, almost fanatical fans that form the base of each group's "Fan Totem Pole".

Their English is fine. It takes a lot of time to learn a language especially going from an Asian language to English. Especially accents are really hard to lose - I've worked with international students learning English for 4 years and if they really immerse themselves and go out with native English speakers exclusively they will lose the accent.

That said Wonder Girls were not there exclusively for learning English and I'm sure they didn't get many chances to go out and chat with native English speakers. The English version of Be My Baby is great and despite the cringe worthy lyrics, Nu Shoes is also fine.

Trust me Max, it can potentially happen. I've had 2 Taengoo dreams so far and 1 random Sica dream. The trick is to bombard your eyes and ears with songs, interviews and variety shows of the person you want to dream about for an hour right before going to sleep. 60% of the time, it works, errtime.

All my dreams happened when I was marathoning SNSD's Hello Baby. And while the Taengoo dreams were pretty awesome, I just thank God I haven't dreamed about Yuri yet. I'm pretty sure I would will myself to stay asleep and never wake up.

The people behind Solbi‘s fake pornography video have just been brought into custody.

To recap, a video has been floating around since 2009 on various portals sites, blogs, and porn sites under the title, ‘Solbi’s manager’s leaked video’ ‘High Quality‘. The video showed a girl who bore a striking resemblance to Solbi, and as a result, a scandal broke out over the ‘sex tape’. It even resulted in the break up between Solbi and her boyfriend at the time.

Solbi stated, “Due to the spread of a pornography clip titled, ‘Singer Solbi’, which featured a woman who wasn’t me, my mental suffering has been great… I thought that if I didn’t take action, more misunderstandings could arise. Thus, I have decided to sue the people responsible, even it means hurting my image, in hopes that I will no longer have to suffer [over this issue].”

On November 9th, the Cyber Investigation Unit revealed that five people had been indicted on the account of various charges, such as defamation of character and the spread of obscene material.

Those brought into custody stated that they had spread the 30-minute video “for fun”.

Pretty catchy. Parts of it kind of remind me of Britney's Hit Me Baby One More Time lol. I want to hear it just straight through though without the breaks though. The MV is pretty badass, except I don't like Jiyeon's hair. How much sexier would it have been if she was just her usual gorgeous self with that long wavy hair AND kicking ass at the same time.

Damn that "Nu Shoes" song. I thought it was just okay at first but now I can't stop singing it. It also didn't help that I just bought 2 pairs of pretty nice (if I do say so myself) dress shoes yesterday. It's around 1:50 am here in Cali and I'm finding myself rocking out to this song while trying to break in the new kicks. The subliminal messaging totally worked. Also, SNSD needs to hire their English Vocal coach. I don't hear any hint of an accent unlike the horrible Engrish that is heard in "The Boys". My respect for Wonder Girls went up quite a bit after hearing their English skills. Are they considered a veteran group, or pretty much the same age as SNSD?

Lol, yeah that song is catchy as hell. They should have come back with that, it's much better than Be My Baby.

I wouldn't put any stock in the MAMA or any MNet music award. MNet is going to pick who wins no matter what happens in the online voting or album sales. 2NE1 will probably win Best Female group as they aired 2NE1TV on MNet so they will be "rewarded" for it, although I would say they deserve it to a certain degree as they put in a ton of work at the beginning of the year.

There’s a word in Korean called ‘덕후 (deoku)’, a word originated from Japanese word ‘Otaku’. When some people like something til they are sick, people call them ‘XX-deok’.

There's nothing I hate more than this Sone, ELF, 4nia whatever fan club stuff. It's designed for teenagers, not for 20 something year olds that have nothing better to do than obsess over groups and troll every other group.

And I can't believe Huh Gak's new song is #1. Guy has done nothing but boring ballads and the video is cringe worthy. So glad it'll be either Ulala Session or Busker Busker (Most likely the former) to win Superstar K3, not just another boring ballad singer.

I do like ballads and I've defended them here before, but not his generic style. Yawn.
