Their English is fine. It takes a lot of time to learn a language especially going from an Asian language to English. Especially accents are really hard to lose - I've worked with international students learning English for 4 years and if they really immerse themselves and go out with native English speakers exclusively they will lose the accent.Peru said:You're kidding, right? That's true for semi popular acts, but the really big names will keep their popularity because they become such a household name. Especially since WG basically started the whole girl group trend again.I take it they didn't do very well here in the States or at least, not as well as projected. That must have been pretty rough only debuting for a year in Korea then heading over to America. Surprised they maintained popularity over in Korea seeing as how fickle the fans seem to be. If you are out of the spotlight/don't do many variety shoes, it seems like you are forgotten pretty quickly. Well forgotten in general. I'm not including the zealous, almost fanatical fans that form the base of each group's "Fan Totem Pole".

I've had 2 Taengoo dreams so far and 1 random Sica dream. The trick is to bombard your eyes and ears with songs, interviews and variety shows of the person you want to dream about for an hour right before going to sleep. 60% of the time, it works, errtime.
All my dreams happened when I was marathoning SNSD's Hello Baby. And while the Taengoo dreams were pretty awesome, I just thank God I haven't dreamed about Yuri yet. I'm pretty sure I would will myself to stay asleep and never wake up.

The people behind Solbis fake pornography video have just been brought into custody.
To recap, a video has been floating around since 2009 on various portals sites, blogs, and porn sites under the title, Solbis managers leaked video High Quality. The video showed a girl who bore a striking resemblance to Solbi, and as a result, a scandal broke out over the sex tape. It even resulted in the break up between Solbi and her boyfriend at the time.
Solbi stated, Due to the spread of a pornography clip titled, Singer Solbi, which featured a woman who wasnt me, my mental suffering has been great I thought that if I didnt take action, more misunderstandings could arise. Thus, I have decided to sue the people responsible, even it means hurting my image, in hopes that I will no longer have to suffer [over this issue].
On November 9th, the Cyber Investigation Unit revealed that five people had been indicted on the account of various charges, such as defamation of character and the spread of obscene material.
Those brought into custody stated that they had spread the 30-minute video for fun.
Found a youtube version (or at least I think it is, same length and Sunny etc): http://youtu.be/xNtyzomS864Peru said:Invincible Youth 2 BTS http://19890515.com/xe/363942 although I can't get it to play yet

Ranvier said:Damn that "Nu Shoes" song. I thought it was just okay at first but now I can't stop singing it. It also didn't help that I just bought 2 pairs of pretty nice (if I do say so myself) dress shoes yesterday. It's around 1:50 am here in Cali and I'm finding myself rocking out to this song while trying to break in the new kicks. The subliminal messaging totally worked. Also, SNSD needs to hire their English Vocal coach. I don't hear any hint of an accent unlike the horrible Engrish that is heard in "The Boys". My respect for Wonder Girls went up quite a bit after hearing their English skills. Are they considered a veteran group, or pretty much the same age as SNSD?

yeah i figured online voting would only contribute to part of it otherwise it would be silly if it relied only on fans voting. i saw on a super junior MV they had steps on how to boost super juniors rating like step 1: sign up to this email place, step 2 register using that email etc etc. its a bit ridiculous lolFafnir said:Look at the judging. Theres a word in Korean called 덕후 (deoku), a word originated from Japanese word Otaku. When some people like something til they are sick, people call them XX-deok.
Sones are often called 소덕 (So-deok), meaning people who are obsessed with SNSD, staying at home spazzing abt them everyday. Some sones call themselves 소덕 because they admit that they are indeed obsessed with SNSD, and they feel nothing about it.
However, Taeyeon has been showing discontentment whenever people use this name to describe sones. She considers this a offensive word, and have reminded people a lot of times about its abuse.
Today on Radio Star, the MC once again mentioned that sones are So-deok, Taeyeon immediately said that Its not a nice word, she was so serious that the MC apologized and promised not to use it again.
Looks like someone who had the Soshi cuts from the show up on yt had the videos taken down by MBC, darn.. but yeah Jessica dispelling her tea meeting rumor huh.Peru said:They're on Radio Star now... someone post the youtube when it's up plz.

Yeah, his constant postings on SONEs vs ELFs and such do get annoying, but his analytical spin on kpop news is one of a kind as far as I know. It's a nice read once in a while.ramyeon said:I've seen a lot of people here praising Oniontaker so I decided to check out his Tumblr. A few pages and I was already annoyed. They're trolling, it's one of the best kpop albums this year if not the best. IY2 starts tomorrow I think, and Radio Star aired last night.Biscuits said:lol guys, I'll check out the album anyways. Have subs for IY2 or other Soshi shows come out yet?
